Chicago – “Step Up 3” is not a film so much as a slickly photographed collage of superbly performed dance sequences. Its structure harkens back to the golden age of screen musicals where the plot merely functioned as an intermission between numbers. There’s no need to visit the previous “Step Up” installments before stepping into this one, since their plots are more or less identical.
“SU3” merely aspires to entertain by utilizing the human body as its central special effect. The result is an irresistible burst of spirit-lifting escapism that sends the audience out on a wave of good feeling. Though the film’s acclaimed 3D visuals are available on a separate Blu-Ray edition, the stellar HD picture quality on the 2D version is second to none, while Ken Seng’s cinematography places the performers front and center, providing viewers with what feels like the best seat in the house. »

Even though reps deny any fighting between Ashley and Demi, a new report says otherwise!
Remember how the reps were adamant that it was all sunshine and roses between Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene when the Disney starlet was sent to rehab? And remember how you really didn’t really believe it? Yeah, neither did we. And according to a new story, Demi took her anger toward Ashley online…
X17online is reporting that when Demi, 18, found out her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas and Ashley were going to take their new couple status on tour, she sent a “very nasty e-mail” to the 23-year-old Twilight star. In the e-mail, Demi blasted Ashley for “stealing her boyfriend and parading around with him on tour.”
Ashley, of course responded, and according to their source, all she did was reply with a picture of her and Joe, asking Demi to leave the couple alone. »

“Maybe we’re all plugged into the same song.” And so starts the deep discussion on dance and life that runs through Step Up 3. I’ll be honest, I’ve never seen the first two Step Up movies. But Step Up 3 was the perfect mindless movie to watch after a long week of work. I snuggled up under the covers, grabbed some snacks, and completely tuned out as I started the movie. While the movie wasn’t actually good, it did make me laugh, probably much more than it was supposed to.
The basic “plot” of the movie is this: On Moose’s first day as an Nyu freshman, he meets Luke, a good-looking orphan boy indie filmmaker on the verge of losing his (not-so-ordinary) home. After a spontaneous dance battle in Washington Square Park, Luke brings Moose to his secret hideout, better known as The Vault. The »

A new episode of House will be airing tonight and Fox has released three sneak peeks for the episode.
An Impossible Decision Must Be Made On An All-new “House” On Monday, September 27, On Fox
When Della (guest star Stoner), a seemingly healthy and active 14-year-old, suddenly collapses during a skateboarding exhibition, House and his team struggle to diagnose her condition and reassure her parents who already have to cope with their son’s terminal illness. After her body rejects a donor lung, and with time running out to save her life, Della’s family is left with little hope of securing a new donor and faced with a seemingly impossible decision regarding the fate of both children. Meanwhile, House tries to appease an elderly father and his son at the clinic, and House and Cuddy begin to face the challenges of taking their romantic »
The gang returns for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and there are new faces, a new camp across the lake, and a new batch of songs to fuel the campy productions and teen antics. As syrupy as this strange, mid-budget excuse to string together music videos with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers may be, it’s actually a pretty fun vehicle, and the kids are sure to love it.
Oddly, there is more meat to this run through than the original, and while the addition of a new camp rivalry may have much to do with that, I suspect it is mostly because returning to camp offer more to work with than simply going to camp.
Mitchie (Lovato) is bursting with excitement upon returning to Camp Rock, and the idea of jamming it up in the woodsy setting is all she can think about. Well, apart from seeing her friends again… »

Do you remember how good “Broken,” the two-hour season six premiere of House, was? Easily two of the top ten hours the show has ever produced — both make my top five. It has become the gold standard for House season premieres.
It would be unfair to ask the first two hours of the new season to live up to such quality, so I won’t. That said, even with all drama from last season’s finale left to unwind, it doesn’t get a free pass. My review of “Now What?” and “Selfish,” the first two episodes of season seven, after the jump.
After the quasi-cliffhanger of last year’s finale, in which House was dangerously close to a Vicodin relapse before Cuddy came to the rescue, the show smartly doesn’t bother with a patient-of-the-week cold open. It is somewhat unfortunately replaced with a mawkish sequence in which House »

Demi Lovato lighted up next to Joe Jonas at the premiere of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam". Making an appearance at the red carpet that was rolled out in front of Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, New York City, the former couple and co-stars in the TV movie looked stunning while standing side by side.
For the special screening event taking place on Wednesday, August 18, Demi opted to wear a strapless white mini dress. Her ex-boyfriend Joe, in the meantime, decked out a semi-formal outfit. The twosome, who stars as on-screen couple Mitchie Torres and Shane Gray, were joined on the red carpet by the rest of the Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
All four of them weren't the only stars from the movie coming to the premiere. Alyson Stoner, Meaghan Jette Martin, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Maria Canals Barrera and Matthew 'Mdot' Finley were also present. »
