'General Hospital' sneak peek: Chad Brannon's guest spot

8 December 2009 12:20 PM, PST | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

It's always nice to see old flames together, like in this shot from Chad Brannon's Dec. 22 return to General Hospital sitting next to his former onscreen love, Natalia Livingston (Emily/Rebecca). In his one-off appearance, Brannon's not playing Zander, Emily's great love before Nicholas and also Elizabeth's baby's daddy, but rather an airplane passenger who has a conversation with Rebecca as she leaves Port Charles This trip down memory lane comes on the heels of Jonathan Jackson's October return to the role he originated, Lucky Spencer. Does seeing the old lovebirds together make anyone nostalgic for a simpler time on Gh? »

A Familiar Face Brings New Drama to General Hospital

13 January 2009 10:24 AM, PST | TVGuide - Breaking News | See recent TVGuide - Breaking News news »

On Thursday, Jan. 15, General Hospital viewers — and eventually Nikolas — will do a double take when the late Emily Quartermaine appears to rise from the dead. The truth is, however, that Natalia Livingston (who left the role of Nik's great love) is back on the ABC soap in a new role, as a mysterious young woman named Rebecca. Livingston talked to us about how much sweeter Gh is the second time around.

TVGuide.com: Is playing another character something that was suggested, or even joked about, when they wrote you and Emily off the show? "It's a soap opera, Nat — we can always bring you back as a look-alike."

Natalia Livingston: It was a talk that I had with [headwriter] Bob Guza, who had come up with an awesome idea for a storyline. It wasn't the right time at that moment, but now it is!

TVGuide.com: So this "comeback plan »
