Watch Samantha Bee Seek Free Speech Insight From Insane Clown Posse

Samantha Bee found constitutional enlightenment beneath the gleaming painted smile of the Insane Clown Posse on Full Frontal Wednesday.

In a segment focused on recent free speech issues, Bee looked at the Juggalo March, which Icp held in protest of the FBI's decision to label them "a loosely organized hybrid gang" in 2011. The designation has had real consequences for fans, one of whom said she lost physical custody of her kids because she went to an Icp concert.

"It was on all our behalves that Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J

Get to know our nation's great Juggalo population

  • The AV Club
On 1997's seminal masterwork, The Great Milenko, Insane Clown Posse itself tried to get to the bottom of an increasingly profound question with the track, “What Is A Juggalo?” Frustratingly, even the two sages responsible for creating those very same legions of soda-spraying, face-painting fans have a hard time…

Jared Leto Apparently Isn't Too Happy About DC's Plans For Multiple Jokers

  • LRM Online
While the current DC Extended Universe has just recently become stable thanks to the success of Wonder Woman, the studio announced last week that an origin story for one of their most iconic characters, the Joker, is in the works. The film will not feature Jared Leto as the Clown Prince of Crime, and will be the first under DC’s new banner which will produce films that exist outside the current DC Extended Universe. The new universe is said to explore unusual versions of DC's characters and with that, it is thought that directors and screenwriters will have more freedom under this new banner than the with the current Dceu.

According to insider sources as reported by THR, the current Joker, played by Jared Leto, was apparently surprised by the news of DC’s new plans and was said to not be happy about the idea of multiple Jokers.

Insane Clown Posse Covers Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” as “Indestructible” and It’s Amazing

I must be taking crazy pills today because I’m featuring not one but two stories that contain clowns and I’m deathly afraid of clowns. However, this one was just too good to pass up. In an age of movie reboots and television reboots, there are also a fair amount of music reboots that are worth listening to. I’ve mentioned before how I’m not a huge fan of the movie reboot or television reboot even though I admit there is a time and place for them. However, when it comes to song reboots I always love to hear new interpretations of

Insane Clown Posse Announce Juggalo March on Washington D.C.

  • MovieWeb
Six days ago, the historic Women's March on Washington took place in the nation's capitol. Millions of women marched in numerous cities around the country, just one day after the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump. Today we have word that a much different march on Washington is being set up this fall by the controversial "horrorcore" rap group Insane Clown Posse, at the National Mall in Washington D.C. The march is set for September 16, 2017, with the group asking its loyal fans known as "Juggalos" to come out in full force, to protest a 2011 FBI report that classified the "Juggalos" as a "gang."

The march was first announced at the annual Gathering of Juggalos last year, but now a date has been announced and an official website launched at JuggaloMarch.com. The website includes a lengthy statement from Icp, which is comprised of rappers Joseph "Violent J" Bruce

Great Job, Internet!: Watch Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless rate iconic horror movie scenes

  • The AV Club
If there’s anybody that knows his way around gory, over-the-top horror, it’s Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell, a man who’s been sprayed with more brightly dyed corn syrup than the kids in the front row of an Insane Clown Posse concert. To promote his just-returned Starz series Ash Vs. Evil Dead, Campbell recently sat down with co-star Lucy Lawless to offer up their opinions on some other entries in the pantheon of great horror movie scenes.

And while the results were a little surprising—Ghost Ship is a better piece of filmmaking than Alien, apparently—it’s mostly just fun to hear the two long-time co-workers dish on guys in masks and the bit where a woman gets turned into a “meat puppet” in Hellraiser III. Plus, the producers slip in a clip from Evil Dead II, prompting Campbell to declare it “a classic motion picture,” even

The Rubberbandits make Us debut on The Almost Impossible Game Show

New bonkers series The Almost Impossible Game Show is coming to MTV tomorrow, October 13, with Irish duo the Rubberbandits set to steal the show. The pair — think classic Chuck Barris The Gong Show meets American Ninja Warriors with a whiff of Kentucky Fried Movie — will give running commentary during the stunts. It’s basically a case of tune in for the epic fails, but stay for the Rubberbandits — Ireland’s answer to Jackass-meets-Trailer-Park-Boys with a hefty dash of Insane Clown Posse. These Limerick-based smartasses will be one of the best things about the series, which guarantees failure in some of the most...read more

Film Review: ‘ClownTown’

Film Review: ‘ClownTown’
ClownTown” opens with the by now almost inevitable (and just as predictably meaningless) claim that it is “inspired by true events.” Actually, there have been some real-life events of late fit to inspire a horror film of this particular stripe: Multiple communities along the East Coast have reported scary-clown sightings at the edge of forests and in other isolated areas. The phenom has been understandably ominous to local residents, and widespread enough to attract national media attention. Authorities’ failure thus far to apprehend any perps has raised suspicions that the whole thing might be a publicity stunt — perhaps for Rob Zombie’s imminent killer-clown-athon “31,” some speculate.

However that creepy current cultural footnote resolves itself, the very thought of suddenly spying some Insane Clown Posse wannabe lurking on the far side of a parking lot or empty schoolyard is more chilling than anything in “ClownTown.” This regional slasher offers nothing recognizably based on a “true event,

Comic Review: Corktown Issue #2

  • LRM Online
Corktown issue #2 from Alterna Comics, available today wherever you buy comics, continues the story of Torrie, a dead Detroit cop who is doing her best to stop the creature that killed her. It details her struggles in getting the attention of anyone in the land of the living to solve the crime.

Overall, this, and the first issue, were quite well done. Sometimes the little things in a story are what endear you to it. With the story being set in my home state of Michigan, right from the start it had my attention and it didn’t disappoint. There were two minor little details that were tossed in which were brilliant, making me feel like I was back at home. The first happened in issue 1 when two cops were talking about the Detroit Lions. The blind optimism they shared for the team is something I’ve felt when talking

Watch John Oliver Pitch 5th Grade Superhero 'Johnny Strong' to Hollywood
With Last Week Hiatus on their late-summer vacation, John Oliver took a break from Donald Drumpf bashing to focus on another issue plaguing our society: The non-stop barrage of superhero movies invading our multiplexes.

"Every year, the market is flooded with movies about superheroes. Just this year, blockbusters included movies ranging from 'Mean Spider-Man' [Deadpool] to 'Sad Man Versus Super Sad Man' [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice] to 'The Insane Clown Posse Takes Manhattan' [Suicide Squad]," Oliver said. "I do think some audience members are becoming fatigued from watching the same characters over and over again.

John Oliver Pitches His Own Superhero Movie ‘Johnny Strong’ (Video)
John Oliver and “Last Week Tonight” were off this week, but that didn’t stop the HBO host from making an impassioned pitch for a new movie series in a web exclusive video. After Oliver ran down the recent crop of superhero movies — with “Suicide Squad” getting redubbed “The Insane Clown Posse Takes Manhattan”– Oliver pitched a story for his own superhero story, Johnny Strong. “By day, he is mild-mannered fifth grader John Olivier. No relation,” Oliver said. “But from the time school lets out until dinner, he becomes, let’s say, the unconventionally handsome hero Johnny Strong.” See video: John Oliver Pitches Donald Trump.

Video Game Review – Carmageddon: Max Damage

Kris Wall reviews Carmageddon: Max Damage…

Nostalgia can be a funny thing, it means we tend to look back on things from our youth through rose tinted specs, our views remaining undiminished by the endless passing of time. Unlike games like Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario World which remain timeless classics, many games were very much of a time and a place, which we tend to forget when we reminisce, until we rediscover them and find they’re about as welcome in the modern day as finding Timmy Mallet sporting a full on perm, breaking into your house.

We all remember the very first Mortal Kombat game, more for the fact that it felt shocking, controversial and a bit naughty when we were young, rather than it actually being a good fighting game, which it wasn’t. Carmageddon was another such game that I encountered when I was young,
