- On the Survivor (2000) All-Stars broadcast of February 12, 2004, she announced she was pulling out of the contest to be at home with her mother, who was battling cancer. CBS granted her the request and she went home. Eight days after Jenna left, her mother died.
- Is the youngest castaway ever to win Survivor. She beat out Matthew von Ertfelda for the million dollar prize by a vote of 6-1.
- Developed a platonic relationship with fellow Survivor All-Star Ethan Zohn who lost his father to cancer when he was 14.
- Arrested in 2018 in Pennsylvania while driving her vehicle while on drugs. Police had to use Narcan to revive her. Drugs and drug paraphernalia, such as syringes, found in her car. She bit the policeman when she awoke.

- With her withdrawal from Survivor (2000) All-Stars broadcast, she gained the distinction of being the first Survivor contestant to enter an installment of the series and not attend a single Tribal Council. Jonathan Libby, Wanda Shirk, and Gary Stritesky have done this since.
