Amanda writes a regular column for Maxim (UK) on serial killers. She has had a long standing interest in abnormal psychology and her interest peaked when she started and continues to receive letters from a serial killer on death row.

On March 9, 2005, Amanda was a featured guest on the radio talk show Coast to Coast AM with George Noory as an expert on serial killers.
