Where Was Clark Gregg in Marvel's 10th Anniversary Photo?

Earlier today, Marvel Studios kicked off their year-long 10th Anniversary celebration by unveiling an epic "class photo," that featured over 80 actors and filmmakers who helped shape the McU throughout its first 10 years. The photo didn't feature every main star and filmmaker though, and one of the most notable exceptions was Clark Gregg, who played Agent Phil Coulson in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and The Avengers, before he was "killed" in that movie, only to be resurrected for the ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is currently in its fifth season. Shortly after the class photo was unveiled, Clark Gregg took to social media, to reveal why he wasn't present for this epic photoshoot.

"So sad I couldn't make this shoot. Honored to be part of McU. I was proudly repping #agentsofSHIELD at #MadisonSquareGarden for @NY_Comic_Con @Marvel."

Marvel also released a behind-the-scenes video, revealing that the photo

Marvel Studios celebrates 10 year anniversary with class photo and video

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a groundbreaking achievement for the superhero genre and film in general, launching multiple successful series in one huge collaborative franchise. Its been so successful that other film studios have sought to copy Marvel’s method, whether its Warner Bros. and DC, Paramount’s Transformers universe, the Godzilla/King Kong universe or Universal’s (albeit failed) Dark Universe monster series.

This year marks the 10th anniversary since the McU began back in 2008 with its very first film, Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. as the billionaire playboy Tony Stark and his heroic alter-ego Iron Man. Aside from being the anniversary, this year also marks the culmination of the McU’s first ten year’s with this summer’s release of Avengers: Infinity War, paying off several years of build up as the Avengers finally face the Mad Titan Thanos in his race to gain the Infinity Stones.

Crossbones to Return in Avengers 4?
Marvel's highly-anticipated Avengers 4 continues production in Atlanta, with the latest set photos revealing that Thor's long hair is now back, after the events of Thor: Ragnarok. Earlier today, though, star Robert Downey Jr. sent out a new photo on Instagram, from a local Atlanta theater where the star and several of his Avengers co-stars are putting on a one-night-only production of the iconic play Our Town. Robert Downey Jr. himself will be starring in this production, along with Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson and a host of unnamed local actors, but perhaps the biggest surprise in this photo is that it also features Frank Grillo, which could mean the actor is bringing his Crossbones character back from the dead.

Frank Grillo only appeared in two McU movies as Brock Rumlow, a.k.a. Crossbones, but he certainly did make an impact with the scenes he was given. We last saw

Kevin Feige confirms Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel for Avengers 4

In the build up to production on Avengers: Infinity War, there was a lot of rumour and speculation as to whether Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers would make her McU debut in next year’s hotly-anticipated Marvel blockbuster ahead of 2019’s Captain Marvel movie.

As it turned out, Carol will be absent from Infinity War, with the character instead making her first appearance in her 1990s-set solo movie as she battles the Skrulls. However, Larson was spotted on the Atlanta set of Avengers 4, and now Kevin Feige has seemingly confirmed the character’s inclusion in the as-yet-untitled sequel during an interview with IndieWire.

“We’re really focusing on Captain Marvel and the work that Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are doing,” said Feige. “It’s going to be a big part of heading towards this epic conclusion and epic finale of 22 movies over the course of 10 years. That is focus

The Kid From Iron Man 3 That Tony Stark Befriended Will Be in Avengers 4

Remember that kid from Iron Man 3 played by Ty Simpkins that Tony Stark befriended? The kid's name was Harley Keener and he was the tech-obsessed kid who warmed Stark's arc-reactor powered heart and helped him repair his armor and get back into action. Well, it's been revealed by IMDb that he has joined the cast of Avengers 4.

I honestly never thought that I'd see that kid again in a Marvel movie. He's 16-years-old now and there's no word on how he will play into the story, or how big a part he has, but it is interesting to learn that director's Joe and Anthony Russo are bringing him back.

I wonder what they have in store for the character. Do you have theories on why they are bringing Harley back?

Iron Man 3’s Ty Simpkins returning for Avengers 4

Over the past few weeks we’ve had several Marvel superheroes confirmed for the cast of the currently in production Avengers 4, and now we have word of a supporting character set to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with IMDb reporting that Ty Simpkins is set to reprise his Iron Man 3 role as Harley Keener.

The now 16-year-old Simpkins played the young tech genius in the last Iron Man solo movie, and reportedly signed a three-film deal with Marvel at the time, prompting speculation that his character could go on to become a superhero character in his own right, perhaps as a version of Nova, or even a successor to Tony Stark as Iron Man.

Given that Avengers 4 is set to mark an end and a new beginning for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps Simpkins’ Harley is being prepped for a bigger role in Phase Four?

Avengers 4 Brings Back Surprise Iron Man 3 Character?

Avengers 4 Brings Back Surprise Iron Man 3 Character?
The IMDb Twitter account is at it again, this time revealing that a character from Iron Man 3 is coming back for Avengers 4. Avengers 4 is currently in production in Atlanta and now it seems that Ty Simpkins will be back to star in it. The young actor previously played Harley Kenner in Iron Man 3, and according to IMDb, the 16-year-old will be back to reprise the role. Harley was Tony Stark's nosy friend in Iron Man 3, and it's not clear what sort of role he'll play in the story for Avengers 4.

Ty Simpkins' return as Harley Keeners could indicate that the movie will feature banter reminiscent of Iron Man 3, which took a more comedic approach than the first two installments of the series. When Tony and Harley met on screen, they shared a back-and-forth that gave room for Tony to show off his wealth of wit,

An Unexpected Iron Man 3 Character Is Returning For Avengers 4

Avengers 4, the currently untitled sequel to next year’s Avengers: Infinity War, will be tasked with the mammoth undertaking of wrapping up everything that’s happened over the past decade of the McU in style. As such, it looks to be bringing in just about every major player in the franchise to tie things together. And, as it turns out, the odd smaller player, too.

According to IMDb, one star introduced into the Marvel universe back in Iron Man 3 is going to be making a very unexpected return in Avengers 4. Could it be, say, William Sadler’s President Ellis? Or maybe Ben Kingsley returning as Trevor Slattery? Nope, it’s actually young actor Ty Simpkins, who played Harley Keener in the Armored Avenger’s threequel.

Fans will remember that Harley was an important part of Iron Man 3, with much of the film’s heart being derived from Tony
