Blu Review: Love Me

22 January 2013 3:01 PM, PST | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

Cinelinx gets the willies from the Love Me Blu-ray!

The Set-up

Sylvia (Lindsey Shaw) thinks she may have found the perfect boyfriend in Lucas (Jamie Johnston), but then discovers he is the lead suspect in the disappearance of schoolmate Melissa (Kristina Elliott).

Directed by: Rick Bota

The Delivery

Love Me is a slow-building romantic thriller that will appeal to tweens and teens that can't get their fill from the current WB TV schedule. Adults may find it a bit angsty, but it is entertaining enough to keep them interested in this high-school-whodunnit.

Lindsey Shaw plays Sylvia, a girl who doesn't date much, who meets Lucas (Jamie Johnston), a rebel who shares her taste in music. As the two grow closer, her friends all disapprove, driving a wedge between them.

Things get complicated when Lucas is named as the suspect in the disappearance of a local girl, and his past relationships raise suspicions. »
