Chris Bavelles Bio Before Chris was a Director / Producer he was a dedicated athlete playing college basketball and then professional Basketball in Europe. Sports taught Chris a lot about hard work, never giving up and teamwork. After two seasons of European basketball Chris returned home to Los Angeles and started his production career as a Talent Coordinator and then Producer / Writer for the popular talk show The Merv Griffin Show. "Being so young and creatively working in an environment where the world comes to you every day was invaluable. Merv taught me a lot including the art of listening". Chris set up and conducted over 2500 Pre-Interviews in a 5 year period digging for the best anecdotes of the worlds most interesting forces like Malcolm Forbes and Armand Hammer to young rising stars like Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington.

In the 90's Chris jumped into the genre of Reality TV, creatively working on such shows as: The Adventures of Mark & Brian, Worlds Greatest Stunts, HBO Entertainment News, The Home Show and The NBA on NBC Sports.

Then in 1996 Chris became the Supervising Producer and Director of Home Video Production & Development for Playboy Enterprises. In his 4 year stay with Playboy Chris created and produced 42 Home Videos all shot on film. At the same time Chris also created two successful reality style programs for PBTV "Sexy Girl Next Door" and "7 Lives Exposed" and came up with the idea for Playboys first live simultaneous Web/TV cast called "Club Lingerie" which turned out at the time to be one of the largest live events produced on the web getting an astounding 565,000 visits. In the weeks to follow Playboy Online got over 20 million page views which helped grow Playboy's online presence.

Since 2001 Chris has dedicated himself to creatively producing and directing a variety of reality & doc style programs. Projects include: Miss Universe for NBC, The Outdoor Room for HGTV, American Ninja Warriors for G-4, Take Home Chef for TLC, The Antonio Treatment for HGTV, Renovation Nation for Discovery, The Real Estate Pro's for TLC, Merge with Lisa Rinna for Lifetime, Home Made Simple for OWN, 69 Sexy Things To Do Before You Die for Playboy and Strictly Dr. Drew for Discovery.

Recent Projects from 2011 - 2014 include: The Great Food Truck Race for The Food Network, Tanked for Animal Planet and Top Hooker (Fishing Competition) also for Animal Planet and Food Paradise for The Travel Channel.

Chris currently gets hired through his production company CB Tweak Productions and has several pilots in the works.
