Deborah Cornish

Deborah Cornish began her career in the audio business in New York City, where she was a recording engineer at Right Track Recording working with such artists as Miles Davis, Luther Vandross, and Mick Jagger.
In 1991, Deborah moved to Dallas, Texas where she began the second phase of her career as a sound editor working on sixty episodes of the television show, Wishbone (PBS). She was also the sound effects editor on the Showtime release of Wishbone's Dog Days of the West. Deb worked as a dialogue editor on the television show, Barney & Friends (PBS) until 2002, when she started to work as a sound effects editor for the television show, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (Nickelodeon). In 2003, she began working on the animated feature film, Ant Bully (2006). Deb completed sound design and re-recording mixing for Safe By My Side in 2008.
Deb enjoys using all her skills as both a recording engineer and a sound editor on the projects she works on. She keeps her Pro Tools system up-to-date and is an Avid Certified Pro Tools Operator (2009). She served on the Women in Film.Dallas Board of Directors, October 2004 - December 2006.
Deborah worked as Supervising Audio Engineer for lynda.com in California (May 2009 - June 2018). She is now growing her own audio post production business in Asheville, NC. (2018 - present)
