- Ron originated the role of Frank Churchill in the world premiere musical of Jane Austen's "Emma".
- Ron is the youngest of his two older sisters Lisa and Larissa.
- Ron had a restaurant called "Ron T's" and a night club across the street called "Buster's Sports Bar & Club" while still a full-time student in college. The college would not supply shuttles to the night club, so Ron hired school buses to make 3 stops around the Providence College campus. Pickup was in front of his restaurant across the street to help with those late-night cravings. Neighboring schools like Brown University, Bryant University, and Assumption College (Worcester, MA), would all charter their own shuttles, making Buster's on of the busiest nightclubs in the state sold to its capacity 4 nights out of the week.
- Ron's family had their house burnt down when he was 6 years old in Clifton Park, NY by a grand arsonist team. The crime ring would paint new homes before people moved into them and come back to steal and burn down the homes later up and down the eastern seaboard. They caught them burning down robbing and burning down a home in North Carolina.
- Ron ran for class president against his best friend during Sophomore and Junior year in high school, Ron got defeated both times. He didn't quit and went on to become Student Council President for his high school and State Student Council President for all high schools in the state of Rhode Island.
- Ron's mother worked for the basketball program at Providence College. He lived in the basketball dorm with the Big East basketball team during their March Madness run to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. Many of his close friends went on to the NBA and overseas to play.
- He was president of his class at Providence College.
- One of his best friends is Delious Kennedy of the Grammy Award-winning group "All-4-One" ("I Swear", "I Can Love You Like That", "So Much In Love"). They performed at his wedding where Delious also stood up as his best man. Delious also Co-Founded the Catalina Film Institute and Festival with Ron and his then girlfriend (now wife), Xiomara Ferretti.
- He lives in Studio City, California.
- Catalina Island is the magical place Ron would throw his birthday parties for him and his friends to get away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. To preserve that "getaway", he never wanted to shoot or work there... until the island's rich Hollywood history inspired him to pay homage to it and start the Catalina Film Institute and annual Catalina Film Festival.
- As a high school Freshman, Ron started on his Freshman football team and quickly got pushed up to the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams within the same year.
- Ron's first acting role on TV was for a Rhode Island Lottery commercial.
- After college, Ron sold his businesses and worked in marketing for a deregulated energy company. He left to start an Internet company, EverydayServices.com, that collaborated with icChina.com and had direct access to 1/7 of the world's Chinese-speaking Internet population.
- In high school Ron held presidential office for his school student council, Junior Achievement, and Rhode Island state student council. He was also a part of Future Business Leaders of America and Model Legislature. He still holds the Rhode Island record for registering the most amount of students into state's voter registration program, which helped garner him the Secretary of State's Student Leadership Scholarship.
