Comedy Series 'Call Me Fitz' Heading to Latin America

Latin America will get to see the Canadian TV series Call Me Fitz. In fact, the show will premiere on the network CanalSony on October 7 at 10:30 Pm. Speaking about the Canadian premiere, it will be on September 19 at 8 Pm on HBO Canada, a premium cable network.

Note that this premiere will take place at 10:30 Pm in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Peru. As for Argentina and Chile, the premiere will happen the same day on the same network at 11:30 Pm.

In this show, we follow Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Jason Priestley), a used car dealers who has a knack for having a morally unacceptable behaviour at times. After Fitz botches a test drive and puts his latest customer in a coma, he finds himself face to face with a new salesman on the lot: Larry (Ernie Grunwald), a man with a heart of gold. The Movie Network Renews 'Call Me Fitz' for 2nd Season

Even if Call Me Fitz's first season will premiere on The Movie Network, a Canadian premium cable network, on September 2010, the show has been renewed for a second season.

In fact, The Movie Network made this announcement as it also announced its slate of new and returning original TV series.

In this half-hour comedy, we follow Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick (Jason Priestley), a second-hand car salesman. Richard has a knack for having a morally unacceptable behaviour while thinking that his life is perfect. After Fitz botches a test drive and puts his latest customer in a coma, he finds himself face to face with a new salesman on the lot: Larry (Ernie Grunwald), a man with a heart of gold. Besides, Larry believes he's Fitz's conscience and that Fitz can change. However, does Fitz really want to change?

First Images of the Western Comedy 'Gunless'

Yesterday, The Cultural Post learned that the first images of the upcoming western comedy Gunless have been online for a few days. As you can see on the poster, the film will be released in Canada on April 30.

The film follows the Montana Kid (Paul Gross), a notorious American gunslinger.He staggers into the tiny Canadian hamlet of Barclay’s Brush, life for the town’s 17 inhabitants is about to get exciting. The Kid immediately gets into an unfortunate altercation with Jack (Tyler Mane), the town’s surly blacksmith, which leads to the The Kid ‘calling him out’ for some good old frontier justice – a showdown. But in a place totally ill prepared to deal with a classic gun fight and without a single working pistol to be found, adhering to the code of the American Wild West may prove difficult.
