Mini Bio (1)

Dori is currently expanding her credits as a Casting Director, working on such films as Dustin Lance Black's "What's Wrong With Virginia" and Marc Forster's "Machine Gun Preacher." She also oversees extras casting via her company, Michigan Casting Services, a sister company of TicTock Studios.

In 2006, Dori co-founded TicTock Studios and was involved in the initial push for the Michigan film tax incentives. She created a film crew training program aimed at establishing a crew base for Michigan's growing film industry. The program, a joint venture between TicTock Studios, MichiganWorks!, and a number of colleges across the state, was conceived to also help displaced workers find jobs in the film industry. The training program received national attention, including coverage in the Wall Street Journal and on CNN.

In addition, Dori has executive produced two award-winning independent films, and is a Co-Founder of the Waterfront Film Festival, which takes place in West Michigan the second weekend in June. The Festival is rated by SAGIndie as one of their "Top 5 Film Festivals."
