The last time CBS aired a drama on Monday it was Scarecrow & Mrs. King in 1986.

CBS joined the networks promising year-round programming, noting that one of the season’s biggest new dramas was the summer show Under the Dome. There’s a good number of new and returning shows not on CBS’ announced schedule, they’ll be used to limit the number of repeats throughout the year.

At least Under the Dome had Mike Vogel to look at.

Vulture breaks down why CBS passed on How I Met Your Dad. Explanations include that CBS didn’t like two actors (though reports

The 10 Best Ridiculous Non Football Related Super Bowl Bets

This is a list of 10 Real But Ridiculous 2011 Super Bowl Prop Bets — all of which have nothing to do with the actual game itself — along with their odds (explained here) and my supremely expert betting advice that is absolutely Guaranteed to win you CA$$$$$H!!! (Not really). Enough brief explaining, let’s get to the bet$: 10. How long will Christina Aguilera hold the note “Brave” at the end of the National Anthem? (Time starts from when she starts saying “Brave” until her the note ends. If she says the full word twice wagers will be No Action.) Over 6 seconds: -140 Under 6 seconds: Even Bet: Under. After a satisfying finale, should 'Scrubs' retire?

  • Hitfix

More go out like Steve Carlton, released by the Twins with an Era over 16, or Willie Mays, hitting .211 for the Mets. Or you could be like Brett Favre, retiring and threatening to retire so many times that the only way your long-time team knows how to handle you is to send you packing. And you go from...

Clever ‘Chuck’ Returns With Fun 3D Episode

Chicago – NBC’s “Chuck” returns this week with a clever 3D episode with guest appearances by Dominic Monaghan (“Lost”) and former NFL star Jerome Bettis and featuring most of what works about this reliably fun show.

Television Rating: 3.5/5.0 “Chuck Versus The Third Dimension” opens with what a large portion of the show’s viewing audience will think of first when they think of this show in 3D - the stunning Yvonne Strahovsky looking sexy as ever in more than two dimensions. Chuck (Zachary Levi) is still dreaming about Sarah but what starts off steamy soon turns deadly. It’s the story of Chuck’s life.
