Filippo Porcelli

Filippo Porcelli is an italian writer, and director. He is author of
the cult television program "Blob", aired since 1989 and winner of many
awards, and has created many programs for RAI. Among his films: "Un
Viaggio in Italia", "F come Falso", "Eterne le Strade di Roma
Attraverso i deserti", "Tempo Inverso", "Fade to Blank", "NowHere".
University professor and expert in the Archives RAI, Filippo Porcelli
has been a management consultant for Rai Teche and has worked primarily
to valorise the documents. He is one of the authors of the Multimedia
Catalogue, the first system in Europe cataloging of audiovisual media
and the first to bring the media and related technology in a Company
and the web. The Catalogue Rai Teche has been included in the register
of the UNESCO "Memory of Italy". He is among the first in Europe to use
digital video editing system AVID, so that of his works (from movies to
video art, documentaries and commercials) cares direction and editing.
Through time, Filippo Porcelli has built a new language, creative and
innovative and his works have been presented to the Venice Film
Festival and Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles.
