The Thunder Buddies Are Up To No Good In New Trailer For Ted 2

27 April 2015 12:30 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Universal has unveiled the latest trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s comedy sequel, Ted 2, and it retains all of the tenets of the director’s outrageous, on-the-nose style of humor: dick jokes, race and more sexual innuendos than you can shake your furry first at.

Centering around the titular, pint-sized loudmouth, the follow-up will orbit around Ted’s quest to land some reputable civil rights, although such a feat will require the crude protagonist to make a valuable contribution to society itself. How will he achieve this, you ask? Well, despite his fuzzy anatomy, Ted reveals his burning desire to have a baby with his bride-to-be Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth reprising her role as the dim-witted love interest), though to do this he will need to collect a sperm sample.

And so, alongside partner-in-crime John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), the dynamic duo set out to make Ted’s dream a reality, encountering »

'Ted 2' Red Band Trailer Gives the 'Law & Order' Theme Some Lyrics

27 April 2015 9:58 AM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"It would be a sweet ass fucking baby." There's always plenty of blockbuster action during the summer, but there's also a few big comedies bringing the laughs as well. One of the bigger attempts to get your chuckles will be Ted 2, the sequel to Seth MacFarlane's feature comedy debut as director and the voice of a foul-mouthed, weed-smoking teddy bear. This time, Mark Wahlberg is helping his buddy have kids by being a sperm donor, but the legal system will be a big obstacle before it's allowed to happen legally. If you didn't like the first film, I can't imagine you'll want to see the sequel, which looks pretty amusing. Watch! Here's the second red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane's Ted 2 from Universal Pictures: You can still watch the first trailer for Ted 2 right here. Ted 2 is directed by Seth MacFarlane, who also voices the title teddy bear, »

Ted 2 Red-Band Trailer Offers Nsfw Look at Comedy Sequel

27 April 2015 9:00 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Universal Pictures has released a new Ted 2 red-band trailer for director Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming comedy sequel. The film finds Mark Wahlberg reprising his role as a man whose best friend is a living, talking, foul-mouthed teddy bear (MacFarlane), only this time around Ted is fighting for equal rights in the eyes of the law when he wants to have children with his new bride. This trailer doesn't delve any deeper into the story than the previous teaser did, but it's significantly funnier. As with the first film (and Family Guy, for that matter), the jokes have less to do with the story and more to do with riffing on pop culture trends and cliches; there's a Law & Order gag that's particularly laugh-inducing. That being said, a simple series of jokes doesn't necessarily translate into a satisfying viewing experience, and with Mila Kunis' character not returning for the follow-up, »

Last week, Universal Pictures released the first trailer for their highly-anticipated comedy sequel Ted 2, just days after the first poster debuted. Fortunately, fans don't have to wait much longer for even more footage, with the studio releasing a new trailer during Super Bowl Xlix on NBC. Ted 2 Gets a Surprisingly Tame Trailer

29 January 2015 11:26 AM, PST | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

Seth MacFarlane and Universal Pictures have released the first trailer for Ted 2, and it scales back from all the raunchiness you would have expected.  Come inside to check it out for yourself!

You'd expect the sequel to Ted to be just as crazy, crude, and over the top as the first.  More than likely it will be, but you wouldn't know it from the film's first trailer which debuted just a little bit ago:

Obviously this isn't a red band trailer so they have to be on their best behavior for now, but it's still kind of odd to see how "normal" this movie is looking.  Frankly, it's a little off-putting as well, since the raunchy humor is a big part of the first movie's appeal.  That's not to say this movie will be bad, I just think the first trailer played it a little too safe.  The premise »

Ted Comes Again in “Ted 2″ Trailer

29 January 2015 10:40 AM, PST | SmellsLikeScreenSpirit | See recent SmellsLikeScreenSpirit news »

The trailer for Ted 2 promises to be more of the same from the "love him or hate him" Seth MacFarlane. I laughed through many of the jokes of the original Ted trailer, yet hated the actual movie itself. I found myself laughing numerous times at this trailer (who doesn't like Marky Mark covered with a shelf full of semen?), so I hope the second time's the charm with the movie. Of all movie genres, a comedy's effectiveness seems to be mostly dependent upon your viewing experience. I've seen comedies in theaters that had me laughing heartily, only to watch them later at home and have my wife and I exchange "What the eff is this?" glances with each other. Ted 2 will be released on June 26, 2015, with Seth MacFarlane directing and writing (with Alec Sulkin), starring Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, and Morgan Freeman (who must be in some kind »

First Trailer For Ted 2 Finds The Thunder Buddies In A Spot Of Legal Trouble

29 January 2015 9:51 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Hot on the fuzzy heels of Tuesday’s tongue-in-cheek poster is the first full-length trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s comedy sequel, Ted 2.

Reuniting The Gambler star Mark Wahlberg with his pint-sized companion, the clip sees the thunder buddies in a spot of legal bother with Ted having to prove his credentials as human by providing a valuable contribution to society (okay, stop sniggering at the back). Such a predicament will see the dynamic, foul-mouthed duo encounter Morgan Freeman’s sharp-suited lawyer and Amanda Seyfried’s Samantha Lesley Jackson — cue the comparisons to a certain other Samuel L. Jackson.

It’s the latter star who will also turn out to be a love interest for Wahlberg’s John Bennett — in lieu of Mila Kunis — while Ted encounters relationship quandaries of his own when he and his new wife make plans to have a baby. Interestingly, Liam Nesson is absent from this newly-released trailer, »
