- Miraq Mirza is an Indian film director,screenwriter, short story writer, poet and journalist. Born on December 24, 1962, He originally hails from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a north Indian State.
Permanently settled in Mumbai, his career in Bollywood spans around three decades. He did his Master's ( M.A. )in English from MANUU, Hyderabad. His book of poetry in Urdu, " Sooraj ke Aas Paas " won two URDU academy awards ( UP & Bihar Urdu Academy ) " Pighalte Lamhon ki Tasveer " , a book of 24 short stories in Urdu is another literary achievement to his credit.
