Rachel Stitt
- Actress
Rachel Stitt was born on December 18, 2007. Since day one, she was infatuated with movies and television, and would often perform plays, songs, and dances for her family and friends. As she grew up, she enjoyed stage shows and took on the lead role in multiple local productions. Rachel attended an acting competition in 2019, and was awarded a scholarship to attend the New York FIlm Academy for a summer to study acting. She traveled from her home in Charlotte, North Carolina to Los Angeles, California and worked to strengthen her craft. At the end of the course, she worked with other students who were studying film to create mock commercials on a lot at Universal Studios. This event was life changing for Stitt. It was here when she realized that she wanted to devote her life to the art of both acting and filmmaking.
Present day, Rachel is working with Kecia Michelle and Mary Kay Farley of JTA Talent Inc to make her dreams a reality. Most recently, she worked behind the scenes as a production assistant and assistant camera operator on Hailey Nicole Ralston's horror short,"The Creature", with Andrew Huggins, Alicia Fusting, Riley Madison Fuller, Malia Agostinelli, Andrea Mitchell, Lorayn DeLuca, and more. If you asked Rachel why she enjoys acting, she would respond with something like, "I love getting to try out different personality traits and characteristics that I don't normally have myself. I think acting is a great way to tell stories and I love telling stories and performing. I also want people to feel things, think differently, and be moved by my performance." Most importantly, she enjoys the work of acting and strives to improve her craft everyday. She works with Pat Dortch at the Actor's Lab in his teen class each week to do this.
On a normal day, however, Rachel is your everyday teen. She has a younger sister by 3 years and two Cavapoo dogs. Rachel enjoys dancing (Contemporary and Ballet), singing, skateboarding, hanging out with friends, trying new things, going new places, baking, and Math and Science in school.
