V. Vansay Zanubon is an American film producer, screenwriter, and director. His first produced film, Color Blind, was twice nominated for Best Feature at the Pan African Film Festival (PAFF-LA) and the Jamaican Film & Music Festival in Kingston, Jamaica. It received a Premier Special Invitation in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The film was shown on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and distributed on DVD worldwide. The film's message was powerful and caught the attention of School Districts around the country, where it was shown to students as part of various curriculums in a classroom environment.
Vansay's Directorial debut short film, The Breakdown on Highway 7, won thirteen awards in the festival circuit worldwide, including Best Director. His first directorial feature film debut, Moonlight Soul, set to be released summer of 2022 and starring the nominated Screen Actor Guild Awards and Image Awards (NAACP) for Best Supporting Actor in the Oscar-nominated film, Ray, Clifton Powell, won him the top honor for Best Feature Film Direction Award at the 2021 International Thai Film Festival. It also earned him his first Producer Guild of America certification.
