Do we have a new (mini-)trend on our hands? With the announcement last Friday of "A Christmas Horror Story" -- a new holiday-themed anthology fright flick starring William Shatner -- we now have four, count 'em four, Krampus movies either in development or slated for release. While the Shatner film will feature the demonic "anti-Claus" in only one segment of the story, it nevertheless marks the folkloric creature's sudden and unexpected breakthrough as the hottest monster in the movie business. First, a quick rundown of the other Krampus-themed films: 1. "Krampus," an Amblin-esque horror-comedy directed by "Trick 'r Treat" helmer Michael Dougherty and starring Adam Scott and Toni Collette as parents doing battle with the titular monster during the holidays; 2. "Anti-Claus," a Kevin Smith film that will reunite "Tusk" cast members Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Parks; 3. "Happy Krampus!", a family-themed take on the character »

Director: Kevin Smith
Running Time: 102 minutes
Kevin Smith loves his podcasts. The director publishes weekly casts via his channel ‘SModcast’ and without it Tusk would never have ben written. The idea for the film came up during an episode titled ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter‘ wherein the director discussed an ad he’d read in a newspaper. The story in particular involved a man seeking a lodger who could live with him rent free in exchange wearing a walrus costume for a period of times.
Although later revealed as a being a hoax ad, it did however get the creative juices flowing, birthing the film idea. Tusk has Justin Long star as Wallace, a co-host of a frat-boy aimed podcast ‘The Not-See Party’, who whilst researching »

Run All Night, 2015.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
Mobster and hit man Jimmy Conlon has one night to figure out where his loyalties lie: with his estranged son, Mike, whose life is in danger, or his longtime best friend, mob boss Shawn Maguire, who wants Mike to pay for the death of his own son.
When Liam Neeson first purposefully told those pesky bad guys in Taken that he’d find them, and then kill them, few (even Neeson himself) would have envisioned his career taking such a dramatic shift into becoming an action star. Even whilst the likes of Stallone and Schwarzenegger found themselves having a brief renaissance thanks to The Expendables franchise, the interest in them soon waned, whilst Neeson has remained fairly bankable.

Today, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Academy Award-winning Big Hero 6 became the #1 animated title of 2014 with more than $620 million globally. The film, which has earned $221 million domestically, also surpasses $400 million at the international box office this weekend.
Big Hero 6 continues to perform strongly in China, where it opened Feb. 28 and has brought in over $51 million, surpassing Frozen to become the highest grossing animated release ever from Disney or Pixar. Over the past few years, Marvel Studios has firmly established itself as one of the big players at the San Diego Comic-Con International, but with the likes of Warner’s DC ensemble Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and fellow Disney subsidiary Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens expected to feature heavily, it seems that Marvel may have made the decision to skip Hall H this year. According to Guardians of the Galaxy helmer James Gunn, Marvel won’t be attending Sdcc this July, so we may have to wait until Disney’s D »

Having passed the $600 million mark over the weekend and in the wake of the news of Frozen 2 getting the green light, it seems rather likely that Big Hero 6 will also be getting a sequel. And if you ask Genesis Rodriguez (who plays Honeylemon in the movie), it’s a strong possibility.
“There’s rumblings of something else happening,” Rodriguez told Screenrant. “I mean yesterday I just saw that it’s the third most grossing Disney animated feature, so this is huge for them. I doubt that they wouldn’t want to do another one. It was a huge success.”
“Just like comic books, you could make it a complete different story and the superheroes reunited to attack someone else,” she continues. “So it’s a perfect little setup they got for a sequel if they wanted to.”

It was only a couple weeks ago that Big Hero 6 co-director Chris Williams told us that a sequel was only going to happen if a great story presented itself. That statement is not only common sense, it's also the standard Disney corporate line when asked about a sequel to a wildly successful, Academy Award winning hit. But if you were surprised by today's announcement that Frozen 2 is definitely coming our way, then get ready to be surprised by rumors that Big Hero 6 is starting to warm up its hard drive for more action. Big Hero 6 actor Genesis Rodriguez says there's "rumblings of something else" in the works. Screen Rant caught up with actress Genesis Rodriguez - the voice behind the character Honey Lemon. With not only the home video release of Big Hero 6, but also its Best Animated Feature win at the Oscars a couple weeks ago, »
Following the success of Taken in 2009, Liam Neeson carved out quite a niche for himself as an older action star. His career certainly careened down this path, with the iconic actor appearing in 9 more action-packed thrillers that includ The A-Team, The Next Three Days, Unknown, The Grey, Battleship, Taken 2, Non-Stop, A Walk Among the Tombstones and Taken 3. Now, on the eve of his latest 'geriaction' movie, as some have dubbed them, Liam Neeson has declared that he will stop making action movies in 2 years, if he is able to make it that far.
Good Morning America caught up with Liam Neeson to chat about this weekend's Run All Night, which may certainly leave some fans with a sense of deja vu, as it once again features the actor running with a gun as he sometimes screams into a cell phone. The 62 year-old confirms that his days as an action star are numbered though, »
After taking in more than $600 million at the box office, and winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature last month, many fans are hoping that Disney will pull the trigger on a sequel to Big Hero 6, but the studio has not made an official announcement at this time. Of course, since the movie is based on a Marvel comic book, there are surely more stories to be told in this universe, although directors Don Hall and Chris Williams recently revealed that they have no current plans to make a follow-up. While doing press for her action-thriller Run All Night, Genesis Rodriguez, who voiced Honey Lemon in Big Hero 6, says that she has heard "rumblings" of a sequel in the works at Disney.

Big Hero 6 directors Don Hall and Chris Williams recently said Disney isn't currently developing a follow-up, however star Genesis Rodriguez believes a sequel might be in the works. That Big Hero 6 sequel still seems a safe bet to us, as the first hint of a new project is dropped.
For the second year running, Walt Disney Animation Studios scored Oscar gold for one of its films, as Big Hero 6 followed in Frozen's footsteps to scoop up some gongage. The movie, directed by Chris Williams and Don Hall, was based loosely on a Marvel comic book series, and even before Big Hero 6 was released, there was talk of a sequel.
Nobody's been in a rush to quash those rumours either, with the assorted creative people behind the film playing a straight bat to questions that came up during the press tour for the movie. Yet as the movie has now become Walt Disney Animation Studio's third biggest grossing film to date, the sequel talk continues.

Someday the mobsters, petty thugs and crooked cops of the world will finally get it through their thick skulls that you should never, ever mess with Liam Neeson’s family — not that audiences have reason to complain in the meantime, so long as they keep getting action pictures as straightforward and robustly satisfying as “Run All Night.” In his third and arguably most effective partnership with director Jaume Collet-Serra (after “Unknown” and “Non-Stop”), the 62-year-old Neeson puts his world-weary killer instincts to good use as an aging Brooklyn hit man trying to protect his estranged son — a twist that pushes this tense, elegantly assembled chase thriller into full-on male-weepie territory, so heavy with sins-of-the-fathers anguish that it almost plays out like a latter-day “Road to Perdition.” Yet Collet-Serra keeps things moving so nimbly that the emotions never turn leaden, suggesting that this Warner Bros. programmer could display some much-needed commercial »
