First Look Images: Emma Roberts, Evan Peters & John Cusack in Adult World

Rising young star Emma Roberts (The Art of Getting By) takes the lead in upcoming comedy, Adult World, which sees director Scott Coffey (Ellie Parker) making his sophomore feature behind the camera.

Starring alongside Roberts will be a promising cast, headed up by John Cusack (High Fidelity) and Evan Peters (Kick-Ass), and now The Playlist have debuted a handful of great first-look images.

“A satirical coming-of-age comedy, centered on the life of Amy Anderson (Roberts) who has just graduated with a degree in poetry. Convinced she is the next star in the literary world, she moves back with her parents to write poetry and find her place in the world. Very soon — saddled with  a stack of rejection letters, unpaid student loans, and no money — she decides to find a job in the real world. Zach Braff Lands 'Garden State'-Style Series 'Garage Bar' at ABC

After a decade of playing young doctor J.D. on "Scrubs," Zach Braff will be making a return to television in the role of a writer and director. As reported by Deadline, the "Last Kiss" star has sold a single-camera half-hour comedy series to ABC, the network that was home of "Scrubs" in its final seasons. Braff, who directed several episodes of the medical comedy that made him famous, will write, direct and executive produce the project, which is entitled "Garage Bar" and will, in the words of Deadline, "combine a workplace idea with the heart and humor of Braff’s 2004 feature 'Garden State.'" "Garage Bar" will be about a group of friends dealing with the celebrity of one of their own, who's become a pop star. Braff's directorial debut "Garden State" touched on a related dynamic in the character of Jesse (Armando Riesco), an old friend of the protagonist's who made. »

Russell Costanzo's 'The Tested' Starring Aunjanue Ellis On DVD July 24

The Tested, based on the award-winning 2005 short film of the same name directed by Russell Costanzo and starring Aunjanue Ellis, Armando Riesco, Tobias Truvillion and Michael Morris Jr, will be available on DVD on July 24 this year. The film, which explores the complex relationship between mother and son grieving a family member, screened at the New Voices In Black Cinema Festival back in February.
