Darrell Waltrip's last race car as an owner/driver was painted white with the number 300 on it. It was called the Tim Flock special. He had to remove the number 300 because NASCAR rules do not permit three-digit numbers on cars. He donated the prize money to Tim to help with medical expenses. Dale Jarrett lead the lap at half way in that race, and donated the bonus money to Tim as well.
Raced with older brothers Bob Flock and Fonty Flock.
Had 40 NASCAR wins.
Used to drive with a live monkey (complete with uniform, and goggles no less)
Had the most unusual pit stop in NASCAR; he had to make a stop to remove a live monkey out of his car.
