50 Cent Threatens to Take ‘Power’ Away From Starz in Heated Instagram Post

50 Cent lashed out on Instagram Monday over what he claims is inadequate treatment by Starz, following Sunday night’s explosive new episode.

The rapper, who executive produces the series and stars as Kanan, said he feels “a little different about ‘Power'” and threatened to leave the show, which is one of Starz’s highest-rated series and is currently in its fourth season.

Sunday’s episode, which saw the deaths of two major characters played by Anika Noni Rose and J.R. Ramirez, was originally planned to be a two-parter to include some additional storylines. However, according to showrunner Courtney Kemp, Starz didn’t agree to extend the episode order, resulting in just one packed episode. Kemp said that as a result, the episode lost some story elements.

“Unfortunately, Starz would not give us the extra episode,” Kemp told Entertainment Weekly. “I asked them for 12 episodes for season 4 and they would not do it. So »

Dave Bautista, Jaime King and 50 Cent join Escape Plan 2

Three more have joined the cast of Escape Plan 2, the Steven C. Miller-directed action sequel currently in development. The three are Dave Bautista, Jaime King and 50 Cent, who join the already cast Sylvester Stallone, who reprises his role as Ray Breslin, the structural engineer who was incarcerated in the world’s most secret and secure prison, aided in his escape by fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

There’s no word on whether Schwarzenegger will return for the sequel, but he is allegedly in talks to join.

In the sequel, King has signed to on to play Abigail Ross, while 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) will reprise his role as Hush. Bautista joins in an unknown role.

Shooting will commence later this year but plot details are being kept under wraps for now. The original film took $137 million across the world, the majority of which came from China, »

Jordan Bridges has joined the cast of the Stx thriller “Den of Thieves,” starring Gerard Butler and Curtis Jackson — aka 50 Cent.

Pablo Schreiber (“13 Hours”) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. also star in the film. Christian Gudegast and Paul Scheuring are directing from their own script.

The thriller follows the intersecting lives of an elite unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as they plan a seemingly impossible heist on downtown L.A.’s Federal Reserve Bank.

Bridges plays the by-the-book federal agent, who is the complete opposite and the nemesis of Butler’s character, “Big Nick” Flanagan.

The movie — currently in production — is being produced by Tucker Tooley and Mark Canton, as well as Butler and Alan Siegel from G-Base, Butler’s production company.

Bridges is best known for starring role opposite Angie Harmon in the TNT drama “Rizzoli & Isles. »
