All My Children alum Chrishell Stause is now heading to a primetime soap — ABC’s Mistresses.

After Stause tweeted about her gig on Thursday, TVLine confirmed that she will guest-star in the fifth episode of Season 3 as a woman April encounters when she gives “hot yoga” a try.

The first wave of presenters for the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards are in, and some non-soap opera familiar faces will be joining in the fun this year. Regis Philbin, Steve Harvey, Marie Osmond, Craig Ferguson, Deidre Hall, Nancy O’Dell, Shemar Moore and Alex Trebek are among those who will read the teleprompter on Pop’s telecast, which has Tyra Banks set to host. Daytime Emmys Announce Drama Performer Pre-Nominations

The Drama Performer pre-nominations for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced Wednesday by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in cooperation with The Television Academy. “The Young and the Restless,” starring Eric Braeden (above right), led with 21 pre-nominations. Also noteworthy is the pre-nomination for “Days of our Lives” star Alison Sweeney (left), who has left the series.

Registered and eligible peer judges selected their top 10 performers in each of four categories – lead actor and actress and supporting actor and actress – after viewing clips of each performer in each category. Due to exact ties in voting, there are 11 pre-nominations in the Lead Actor and Supporting Actress category.

Pre-nominees with the highest numbers of votes will move onto the blue ribbon screening round, scheduled to begin on Feb. 24, which will determine final nominees and winners. All pre-nominees for younger actor and younger actress automatically move into the blue screening round. »

Beau Kazer, ‘Young and the Restless’ Star, Dead at 63

Beau Kazer, who originated the role of Brock Reynolds on the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” died Dec. 30. He was 63.

“It is with great sadness to share the news that Beau Kazer passed away on December 30th in Thousand Oaks, California,” a representative for the show told TheWrap on Tuesday.

Kazer originated the role of Reynolds in 1974 and frequently appeared on the show throughout the years.
