Exclusive: TV Land has closed the deal for a second season pickup of The Soul Man starring Cedric “The Entertainer” and Niecy Nash and has ordered a third season of The Exes. In total viewers, the series debuted to 1.9 million, behind Cleveland (4.8 million) and Happily Divorced (2.4 million). The Exes: TV Land Orders More Episodes for Season Two

14 November 2012 12:38 AM, PST | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

Earlier this year, TV Land decided to give Happily Divorced an extra-big second season. Now, they've done the same thing for The Exes.

The Exes revolves around three divorced men who live together and their lawyer/landlady. The cast includes Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables, and Kristen Johnston.

In February, the cable channel ordered a second season of 12 episodes of The Exes and aired them between June and September. Now, according to Deadline, TV Land has ordered 10 more episodes and is considering them part of season two.

It's unclear why they're not calling the 10 new installments season three but fans of the show should be pleased they're getting more installments. The Exes is one of TV Land's lower-rated sitcoms with season two averaging 910,000 viewers with a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic. »

Rosemarie DeWitt (My Sister's Sister) and a pixie-haired Olivia Thirlby star in Nobody Walks. Too bad, I enjoy walking. (Did you notice at the 1:19 mark DeWitt's character admits she's attracted to Thirlby's character?)

Claire Danes returns to the award winning Showtime series Homeland starting Sunday, September 30 at 10 p.m. and I can't fracking wait!

Jennifer Lawrence stars in the Lydie Marland biopic Ends of the Earth. The story follows Lydie Marland and her “uncle/adoptive father/husband, oil magnate.” Marland's parents hand her over to be adopted by her aunt and uncle, but the uncle has another idea. (This is beyond gross.)
