Composed and performed "Never Will There Be Another One Like You" as a gift to brother Raymart's wedding to Claudine Barretto. The couple, however, decided to make "You Are the One" by Randy's Serenity band as their theme song.
During the height of his popularity, children and adult, alike, altered the face of national hero Emilio Aguinaldo on the P5-bill to resemble Randy with his signature shade. The Central Bank would issue a memorandum with strict instructions to business establishments not to honor such bills.
He have to wear shades to hide an eye disease. His style in wearing shades earned him the monickers "Mr. Shades" and "Private Eyes."

Released the album Beinte Na, Hihirit Pa in year 2006, in celebration of his 20 years in the show business. The CD is recorded live at his bar, Ratsky, in Morato with his band, Serenity.
