ABC’s revival of “Battle of the Network” stars has set 20 teams of five celebrities each to compete in the upcoming season, the network announced Monday.
Stars from shows such as “Modern Family,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Scandal,” “Melrose Place,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “The Goldbergs,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “The West Wing,” “Dallas,” “CHiPs,” “Law & Order” and many more will take part in the throwback to the classic series from the 1970’s.
The 10-episode season will pit teams of current and classic TV stars from multiple eras and different genres against one another in a variety of athletic games, like Tug of War, Archery, Kayak Relay, Obstacle Course, and Dunk Tank. The series will premiere June 29 at 9 p.m.

The past few weeks have seen a gradual thinning of the Peak TV herd as several cablers have bowed out of the scripted series business. E! is a relative newcomer to the arena but plans to stay the course with a handful of scripted projects that complement the cabler’s laser focus on reaching what president Adam Stotsky calls millennial “pop culture vultures.”
Production begins next month in Vancouver on Season 2 of E!’s “The Arrangement,” the cat-and-mouse thriller about a TV actress who finds herself in a bizarre relationship with a major star arranged by a powerful cult. The series, which stars Josh Henderson and Christine Evangelista, earned mostly solid reviews for its first 10-episode season. E!’s other scripted drama, Lionsgate TV’s sudser “The Royals,” is now in production on Season 4.

It’s not just country’s biggest stars who will attend the Cmt Awards on Wednesday. The annual event, which is being broadcasted live this year from Nashville’s Music City Center, will play host to a slew of A-list presenters.
Cmt announced on Tuesday that the full list of presenters includes Ashton Kutcher, Clare Bowen, Danny Masterson, Dustin Lynch, Hoda Kotb, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jason Aldean, Jason Derulo, Johnny Galecki, Josh Henderson, Katherine Heigl, Kathie Lee Gifford, Rachel Bilson, and Reba McEntire along with country music personalities Bobby Bones and Cmt’s Cody Alan and Katie Cook.

The Scandal star was celebrated at the inaugural Bronx Children’s Museum Gala in the Bronx, New York on Tuesday. The event raised $520,000 to help fund access to the arts, music, dance, environmental studies, and Steam-based exhibits and programs for the more than 250,000 children living in the borough.
