Willie Revillame was born on January 27, 1961 in the Philippines as Wilfredo Buendia Revillame. He is an actor and producer, known for Masahol pa sa hayop (1993), Pera o bayong (Not da TV) (2000) and Engkwentro (2009).

A professional drummer; he provided drum beats to Philippines Master Rapper 'Francis Magalona' during the rap explosion in the Philippines.

Entered show biz in 1987 as a member of Randy Santiago's Hawi Boys, along with Chinkee Tan, Dennis Padilla and Jong Cuenco. Randy was then at the peak of his popularity and he needed bodyguards and protectors from fans and mobs.
Among his siblings are Naomi Revillame, Angelo Buendia, Grace, Noemi. He spend the schooling of his younger half-sisters and half-brothers.
Considered himself as Eat Bulaga (1979) baby despite the show has been his rival for years. Four of his noon-time shows, including the latest Wowowee (2005), were direct competition to Eat Bulaga. He looks at eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon as his idols. Early in his career, he appeared in Sotto-De Leon movies.

Sought help from friends like Aga Muhlach, Dolphy, Sharon Cuneta and 'Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr.' to broker a talk with big shots of ABS-CBN when he returned in 2002. Willie ended up meeting with ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs executive Arlene de Castro (wife of Vice President Noli de Castro) who offered him a public service show with a touch of humor. The show turned out to be "Willingly Yours".
Vilma Santos, as mayor of Lipa City, officiated his civil wedding with second wife Liz Almoro March of 2005. His lavish church wedding in June 2005 that was sponsored by commercial entities was adjudged by readers of YES Magazine as Wedding of the Year for 2005.
Has daughters from previous relationships and one son, Juan Emmanuel (Juamee), with second wife Liz.
After he was fired from Magandang tanghali bayan MTB (1998), Willie went on a sabbatical to the United States for a couple of months. He was contemplating on retiring from showbiz and live a quiet life there. But his plans change after getting a positive reaction from the Filipino-Americans who mingled with him during his stay.
Was replaced by the then matinée-idol triumvirate of Marvin Agustin, Dominic Ochoa and Rico Yan when he was fired from Magandang tanghali bayan MTB (1998).
Also engaged in buying and selling cars.
His first album was produced by rapper Andrew E. The album, "Parental Guidance", reached platinum status, but did not enjoy immense airplay at some radio stations because some songs in the album like "Ang Cute ng Pokémon" ("What a Cute Pokémon") and "'Wag Mong Pigilan" ("Don't Stop") had double-meaning lyrics.
In his early years, he was the concert drummer for Alma Moreno's musical variety show "Loveliness" and rising young singers like Gary Valenciano.
He rose to fame in the late '90s as sidekick to big-named movie stars (like Phillip Salvador, Edu Manzano, Cesar Montano, Aga Muhlach, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon) before making his own mark in the business as a TV host for ABS-CBN's now defunct noontime variety show, Magandang tanghali bayan MTB (1998).
