With three movies already in the can and awaiting release in 2017, Marvel Studios is already starting to bring its 2018 line-up together. Avengers: Infinity War will begin shooting soon, with Black Panther now in production in Atlanta Georgia. This first standalone movie featuring T'Challa from Captain America: Civil War will be in theaters a little over a year from now, as it arrives in time for Black History month on February 16, 2018.

This news comes courtesy of Just Jared, who were the first to leak photos from the set. The big news they discovered is that Martin Freeman is confirmed to return in his role as Everett Ross, a character that debuted in last summer's smash hit blockbuster Captain America: Civil War. The 45-year-old actor was spotted on the Black Panther set this Saturday as shooting kicked off.

Martin Freeman was spotted on set alongside already confirmed cast members that include Chadwick Bosemman as title character T'Challa, »

When Marvel kicked off Phase 3 of the McU with Captain America: Civil War, it seemed to be Tom Holland’s Spider-Man who stole the show. And while the new version of the web-head did impress just about everyone, there was also another character who made a huge impact on audiences: Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa, aka Black Panther.

Now, after making his presence felt in a big way, the hero is about to receive a large part of the Marvel spotlight, what with a brand new comic book coming soon as well as his own feature film, which has already entered production. To prove it, Just Jared has snapped some set photos of a few of the cast members, including Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), and Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross). There’s nothing revealing here, »

DC Entertainment target six big potentials for new Green Lantern

21 January 2017 11:24 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

According to The Wrap, DC Entertainment are looking at six big actors to potentially fill the role of Hal Jordan/ Green Lantern in the planned Green Lantern Corps movie, which David Goyer and Justin Rhodes are writing for a 2020 release.

Those actors are: Tom Cruise, Joel McHale, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Armie Hammer, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Yes, they’re aiming high, but no talks have been entered into with any actor as yet. This is pure rumour.

Ryan Reynolds last played the character of Hal Jordan/ Green Lantern in Martin Campbell’s 2011 movie. He’s now busy with the Deadpool series, so a return to the role is doubtful, but stranger things have happened.

There’s a chance that either Jordan or maybe DC character John Stewart may appear in a DC prior to the Green Lantern Corps movie, possibly even in Justice League: Part 2, which will debut in »

Sterling K. Brown followed up his breakout role in American Crime Story: People Vs. O.J. Simpson by finding a place in the ensemble of This Is Us. ‘The Librarians’ Star Noah Wyle: What’s Driving Him to Save Family Friendly TV

19 January 2017 9:51 AM, PST | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

Noah Wyle knows “The Librarians” is one of television’s most unique shows— especially on TNT.

The show, which airs its season finale this Sunday, isn’t a dark drama like the network’s latest original series, “Animal Kingdom” and “Good Behavior.” But Wyle, who executive produces the show, appeared in seven episodes this season, directed two and even wrote one, believes “The Librarians” serves a purpose, as one of the few shows on TV crafted to serve as true family programming.

“There’s certain shows that have a big audience but don’t necessarily fit the edgier brand that I think TNT is trying to be. Yet, they bring an audience that’s a pretty good demographic,” he said to IndieWire. “They have been supportive, they have been marketing the show well this year, and the numbers speak to that. I’m hoping that they figure out that it’s not an either/or. »

Ok, How Freakin' Cute Is Young Randall From This Is Us?

One of the first people on the People's Choice Awards red carpet also happened to be the cutest. Lonnie Chavis, who plays young Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown's character) on the hit NBC series This Is Us, showed up for his very first award show looking adorably dapper in a gray suit jacket, metallic pants, cool kicks, and a bow tie. Eight-year-old Lonnie shared an Instagram photo of himself arriving in a limo with Khloe Thompson, a 9-year-old girl who went viral last year after launching her own charity, Khloe Kares, and passing out homemade bags of necessities for homeless people in her community. What a cute little date night, right? Luckily for us, the show, which has been making fans ugly-cry since its premiere, was just renewed for seasons two and three at NBC - so we'll hopefully get to see more flashbacks featuring little Lonnie in the near future. »
