Once Upon a Time at Comic-Con: Sean Maguire & Rebecca Mader Discuss Robin Hood & Zelena in Season 5

One of the biggest twists that occurred in Once Upon a Time‘s fourth season was the reveal that Zelena (Rebecca Mader), the Wicked Witch, was not only alive but posing as Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) wife, Marian. And then, to top that twist, was an even crazier one: Zelena was pregnant with Robin’s child, meaning that no harm could be done to her, no matter how much he and Regina (Lana Parilla) wanted to seek retribution for all the pain and trouble she had caused them. Last weekend, the main cast of ABC's hit show, "Once Upon A Time" season 5, showed up at the huge 2015 Comic-Con event in San Diego,California to participate in the live Q&A spoiler panel (video below). The spoiler panel featured stars: Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Sean Maguire and Rebecca Mader along with executive producers, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (video below). In the clip, the producers did a little recap of season 4. All the stars talked about their characters and what they might be up to in season 5. 'Once Upon a Time' Spoilers on Merida's Arrival in Season 5

ABC's "Once Upon a Time" is going to be very "Brave" in Season 5. The cast took to Comic-Con this weekend to talk about the new season -- which starts September 27 -- and there was a sneak peek introducing Merida, who will be played by Scottish lass Amy Mason.

After the Ouat Comic-Con panel, cast members Colin O'Donoghue, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Emilie de Ravin and Rebecca Mader talked to TVLine about various Season 5 themes -- including Dark Swan and Regina and Emma "flipping" their roles as villain and savior -- and discussed the intro of Merida.

‘Once Upon a Time’ Previews Merida from ‘Brave,’ Dark Swan for Season 5

Disney and Pixar’s “Brave” is getting the “Once Upon a Time” treatment in season five, with Scottish princess Merida joining the ABC fantasy drama.

At the show’s Saturday morning Comic-Con panel, executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz unveiled a teaser featuring Merida’s iconic archery skills, showing a hooded character hitting the bullseye of a target before splitting that arrow with a second and pulling back her hood to reveal curly red hair. Merida will be played by Scottish actress Amy Mason.

The cast and executive producers were on hand at Comic-Con to tease season five, with Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Sean Maguire and Rebecca Mader in attendance.

Once Upon a Time is adding another hero and villain to its full-time ranks before the show heads into Season 5. The ABC drama has upgraded Sean Maguire, who plays Robin Hood, and Rebecca Mader, who plays the Wicked Witch, Zelena, to series regulars for its upcoming fifth season. Both Maguire and Mader first appeared on Once Upon a Time in Season 3. American Crime Season 2 to Focus on Sexual Identity, Class Warfare

The actress has been cast in Madoff, ABC’s upcoming miniseries about disgraced financier Bernie Madoff.

Starring Richard Dreyfuss as the titular former stockbroker, the drama project — which is inspired by Brian Ross’ book The Madoff Chronicles — will examine Madoff’s rise and fall, leading to his 150-year prison sentence in 2009 for operating a $65 billion Ponzi scheme.
