For Season 2 of Feud, Ryan Murphy is eschewing Hollywood royalty for the real thing.

FX on Tuesday renewed Murphy’s nascent anthology series for a 10-episode second season, which will focus on the tempestuous marriage and divorce of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. The pickup comes a week before the March 5 launch of the franchise’s eight-episode first season, Feud: Bette and Joan.

Jd Pardo has been cast as the lead in Kurt Sutter’s upcoming FX pilot “Mayans Mc,” TheWrap has confirmed. The series is set in a post-Jax Teller “Sons of Anarchy” world, where E.Z. Reyes (Pardo), a prospect in the Mayan Mc charter on the Cali/Mexico border, struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel, and his need for respect from the woman he loves. Edward James Olmos was previously cast in a supporting role. Pardo is a film and television actor, known for roles in “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2,” “East Los High,” and the Dwayne Johnson action film “Snitch. »

Kurt Sutter has found his lead for the upcoming Sons of Anarchy spinoff pilot in Jd Pardo (East Los High, Revolution), who has signed to to play Ezekiel ‘Ez’ Reyes, a prospect in the Mayans Mc character on the California/Mexico border.

Ez’s character is described as “the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape.”

Pardo joins a cast that includes Edward James Olmos as Ez’s father, Clayton Cardenas as Ez’s brother Angel, and John Ortiz as Esai “Taino” Osorio, President of the San Padres Mayans Mc charter. »
