Niesha went to Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was the top basketball player. She is the all time leader for New York high schools in career points scored - men or women. For high school, Niesha went to Riverdale Country School, where the director of Bringing Rain (2003), Noah Buschel, also went. She plans to play in the W.N.B.A. next season and balance basketball stardom with her budding acting career.
