Nikita, Ep 4.05: “Bubble” emphatically proves the fight’s not over

Maggie Q

Nikita, Season 4, Episode 05: “Bubble”

Written by Oliver Grigsby

Directed by Nick Copus

Airs Fridays at 9pm (Et) on the CW

Nikita seemingly taking down Mdk and Amanda last week closed, atleast in her mind, a major chapter in her life, possibly the most definitive one. However, the survival of both was the clearest indication yet that this war was far from over, and it would only be a matter of time until the deception came to light. This week’s episode focuses on the public reaction to Nikita’s story, as well as Mdk and Amanda’s next steps, in a great episode that promises a thrilling series finale next week.

Watching Nikita’s discomfort with the limelight is a fascinating look at another aspect of her character. Nikita’s entire life has been spent largely in the shadows and on the fringes of society, something that

'Nikita' recap: 'Bubble' sacrifices a major character to reveal the truth about Amanda

Nikita was so blissfully happy thinking Amanda was dead and the war was over after last week's "Nikita" that it took the death of one of her loved ones to shake her out of her "Bubble" on Friday (Dec. 20). So who died for the greater good?

Major Spoilers Below ...

Rip Ryan Fletcher (Noah Bean). You've come a long way since you were introduced in Season 1, from a CIA analyst obsessed with discovering the truth about Division, to the leader of the new and improved Division, to the brains behind Nikita's team in Season 4. Your dedication to seeking out the truth and getting justice for all Amanda had done was admirable, and you even gave your own life to make sure Nikita knew Amanda was still alive. London, Dec 1: British pop rock band Lawson is keen to get singer-actress Rita Ora to feature in their next music video, but the members of the group are afraid of annoying her boyfriend Calvin Harris.

Nikita Preview: The Hunt for the Most Wanted Woman in the World Begins Tonight!

For its fourth and final season, the CW spy drama Nikita returns with six final episodes. The third season finale cliffhanger left Nikita (Maggie Q) as literally the most wanted woman in the world after she was framed for assassinating the U.S. President in the White House. But, as fans recall, while Nikita may have brought the gun into the Oval Office, she did not actually pull the trigger – the President shockingly did that herself, or rather a woman who looked like the President. We later saw that Amanda had the President carefully locked up, far away at the time a doppelganger shot herself trying to make it appear as if the President was actually dead.

So Season 4 opens with Nikita on the run, alone, and seeking a way to clear her name – and the names of all those she holds dear. In the episode aptly named “Wanted,” we

'Nikita's' Noah Bean lands recurring role on Fox's 'Gang Related'

Now that "Nikita" is ending, the series' stars are beginning to find new jobs.

The first to book a new role? Noah Bean, who just booked a recurring role on another upcoming drama series, Fox's "Gang Related," Deadline reports.

"Gang Related" is a gritty new action-drama focused on Detective Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez), a rising star in Los Angeles' elite Gang Task Force. What the world doesn't know is that long before Ryan was a cop, he pledged allegiance to a different band of brothers -- a powerful Latino gang called Los Angelicos. Bean will play Jason Manning, a Stanford educated, rich hedge fund owner.

Before Bean shows up on "Gang Related," he'll end his run on "Nikita," about to kick off its fourth and final season. Bean plays Ryan Fletcher, former-cia analyst turned head of Division.

The final season of "Nikita" premieres Friday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. Et on The CW.

What to Watch: Oct. 20-26, 2013

Chicago – It’s a weird week at the video store (do they still have those?) or in the New Releases section of your favorite Video On Demand service. There’s some real junk that we’ll get to (“The Internship”) along with some flicks that are just too good not to break out into their own special Blu-ray reviews (“Before Midnight,” “The Conjuring” — both must-sees). And then there’s a unique array of catalog releases and TV seasons. Those could easily fall through the cracks if not for the informative What to Watch. All of these are new to Blu-ray, some for the first time and some in anniversary/special editions. At least one will grab your attention.

Once Review

It would be very difficult to label Once up as a mainstream theatre musical. In fact, it would be very difficult to put the ‘stage production,’ into any specific category at all. No, it isn’t a straight musical, though it does contain original songs with all of the cast partaking in vocal proceedings, but there is no orchestra, and said company all play their own instruments. Is it a play? Well, there certainly is a clear narrative running through it, but I wouldn’t call it a play either. One word that I can and will describe it as though, is most definitely… unique.

Based on the superb 2006 Academy Award winning film of the same name, written and directed by John Carney, and set around the original songs of Glen Hansard, Once revolves around a Dublin based street busker known only as ‘Guy,’ and his relationship with an Eastern-European single mother,

Comic-Con 2013: 'Nikita' talks about the end, a new lair, nude scene
The panel room for "Nikita" was only half-full, but that didn't dim the enthusiasm of the true fans in attendance (some of whom had come from as far away as Canada). With only six episodes of the show left, the mood of the stars and show creator Craig Silverstein was both nostalgic and enthusiastic for a wrap-up that promises to "start right in the middle of it and not take our foot off the pedal until the end," according to Silverstein. Silverstein was joined by Noah Bean (Ryan Fletcher), Melinda Clarke (Amanda), Aaron Stanford (Seymour Birkhoff), Lyndsy Fonseca (Alex), Shane West...

Nikita, Ep 3.19: “Self-Destruct” sees some concrete moves made towards ending Division, while Alex copes with the latest death in her life

Aaron Stanford, Noah Bean, Maggie Q, Shane West

Nikita, Season 3, Episode 19: “Self-Destruct”

Written by Kristen Reidel

Directed by Nick Copus

Airs Fridays at 8pm (Et) on the CW

The process, or lack thereof, of dismantling Division has been a looming concern for all of Nikita’s third season. The concern voiced by many from within and outside of the organisation focused on how the process was not happening fast enough, and would perhaps never really happen, came to a head last week as the place underwent a full-scale rebellion that came with its share of casualties. This week focuses on the aftermath of the actions of the last few episodes, turning the focus to character development while still setting the stage for some large-scale actions, some of which already redefine the show with the potential for further change.

The exploration of Alex’s emotional state following Sean’s death was fascinating to watch,

Jessica Camacho Sets Her Sights on CW’s Nikita

Next month a devilish new agent shows her face at Division when the CW’s Nikita premiers the new cast member, actress Jessica Camacho. You might recognize Camacho from ABC’s Last Resort, a great show that ended after only 13 episodes and won’t be seeing a second season order. TVLine had the exclusive news about Camacho’s guest appearance. Might it get bumped up to recurring status? Or will her dark intent endanger her health? We’ll have to wait and see.

Camacho’s episode will show on the CW on April 5th, when her character, Rachel, is proven to have quite an agenda. Certain to remind fans of Nikita herself, Rachael has designs for breaking free of Division’s power forever. Currently working as a technical operations staffer, Rachael is one of the few assets left in the shadowy organization’s hold.

Season 3 will run until May. This season,

Nikita, Ep 3.07: “Intersection” shifts the dynamic with major losses for both parties

Nikita, Season 3, Episode 7: “Intersection”

Written by Michael Brandon Guercio

Directed by Dwight Little

Airs Fridays at 8pm (Et) on the CW

With Amanda now identified as the overarching threat to both Nikita and Division, and some leeway finally gained from the Us government, it would logically follow that the efforts of the team, and Division as a whole, would focus on apprehending their former trainer, dead or alive. This, of course, is easier said than done, as Amanda has proven both that her ruthlessness has not diminished, and that she still has plenty of resources to fight whatever comes her way, particularly by reactivating the kill chip embedded in Sonya. How Nikita and company would thus choose to go after Amanda was a big point going forward, and this episode delivers on that storyline in spades, proving that the writers are not afraid of briskly advancing plotlines or shaking up the status quo.

Shane West Previews 'Nikita' Return And What's Ahead For Division
"Nikita" returns for its midseason premiere tonight (Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. Est on The CW), and there's plenty of drama in store for our favorite agents.

Star Shane West -- who plays Nikita's (Maggie Q) fiance, Michael -- promised that the events of tonight's episode, titled "Intersection," will be "shocking, but ... you can trust me in saying that it’s going to go to amazing places."

HuffPost TV talked to West about Michael's dynamic with Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca), his character's potential jealousy over Nikita and Owen's relationship, and Michael's new role in Division. Proceed with caution, there are light spoilers ahead.

Michael has really been the only one to notice that something is off with Alex so far this season, and it sounds like that will come to a head in tonight's episode. Can you preview anything about their storyline in "Intersection"?

I think Michael was always used to
