Supernatural: The Stars and Creator Want It to End? No Season Six?

14 May 2009 11:20 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

After four seasons, Supernatural has never been hotter and it's already been renewed for season five. So why do the show's stars and creator want to call it quits?

Created by Eric Kripke, Supernatural revolves around the Winchester brothers and their ongoing battle against demons, and any other hellion you can think of. Older brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) followed in the footsteps of his demon-hunting father (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) while Sam (Jared Padalecki) tried to make a break from the family business and lead a normal life. When Sam's girlfriend is killed in a similar manner as his mother and the brothers' dad disappears, the good-looking heroes set out on a crusade of their own.

Recurring characters are played by Jim Beaver, Genevieve Cortese, Misha Collins, Katie Cassidy, Lauren Cohan, Samantha Ferris, Julie McNiven, Nicki Aycox, Alona Tal, Samantha Smith, Sterling K. Brown, Chad Lindberg, Robert Wisdom, Charles Malik Whitfield, »

"Push" review. The conclusion of “Push” is very inventive and creative.

6 February 2009 | Upcoming-Movies.com | See recent Upcoming-Movies.com news »

"Push" review by Eric Sloss, Writer   With cold weather blanketing much of the country, “Push” is a perfect antidote for the wintertime blues.  It will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will transpire next.   In 1945, the Nazis were experimenting on people.  They were trying to give normal people special powers to help in their cause of global domination.  They weren’t able to fully integrate their program with their loss in the war.  The American government jumped on the idea and went ahead with implementing it.  The government came up with a secret division appropriately called The Division.  Problems arise when people do not want to go with the program and want to live a normal life instead of becoming super soldiers.   There are various categories of these super powers.  There are the watchers, who can see into the future.  Movers have the power of telekinesis. »

Push Review

5 February 2009 9:00 PM, PST | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Short version: Push has an interesting premise, but it just doesn’t manage to translate it into a great movie.

Screen Rant reviews Push

I really thought I was going to enjoy Push more than I did. But much like the God-awful Jumper, Push has an interesting premise that it just can’t translate into a great movie.

Just like Jumper, Push has an extensive backstory… While the former film established it via an in-depth document sent out to movie sites cataloging the history of the good guys and the bad guys, this film did it with a comic book mini-series. Having read four of the issues (which I found pretty intriguing) I had hoped that I would find the film more meaningful through understanding the deep background of “Division.”

Sadly, that didn’t turn out to be the case.
