Mini Biography

Omari Ishmael Grandberry was born on 12th November 1984 in California, Los Angeles. He is the older brother of singer O'Ryan. He and his former band-mates Lil Fizz, Raz-B and J-Boog were discovered by manager and director Christopher B. Stokes.

They formed a band called B2K. B2K stands for Boys of the New Millennium. They were formed at the ages of between 15 - 16 years old. Omari was brought up in Inglewood by his mother. He was the oldest of the members of B2K. He was the lead singer.

The band disbanded in January 2004 after appearing in the film You Got Served, Omarion then went solo and has a solo LP entitled "O" which was released in February 22nd 2005 through Epic Records.
