Recently, the dark side of the modeling industry was explored in the genre bending Neon Demon, a florescent gem from director Nicolas Winding Refn where our desires lead to a bloody consumption. While Model Hunger shares similar tropes, it’s actually a completely different movie that dares to have all shapes and sizes on the screen.
Lynn Lowry plays Ginny, a former model who takes advantage of her hard of hearing neighbor and tortures young models and eventually eats them. The torture scenes are actually pretty funny and at times gruesome. Ginny lives alone, has a lot to say, and I loved hearing her snide remarks about her hatred for women who prefer salmon over steak. Lowry completely steals the show in Model Hunger and brings a dark humor to the tone that makes the movie fun to watch.
Her discreetness is threatened when she gets a new neighbor named Debbie played by Tiffany Shepis, »

Watch Three Clips from Accidental Exorcist: “All Richard really wants is to finish his book but fate dealt him a very strange hand – he is a natural born Exorcist. In fact, he is the best there ever was and with possessions on the rise across the city, he’s booked solid. Reluctantly, he faces the fact that performing exorcisms is the only thing he’s truly good at even though it’s wearing him down and making his life utterly miserable. Case after case, he stares evil incarnate in the face, taking on satanic forces to help those in need. However, he soon finds his power »

Following a successful film festival run, director Brandon Slagle's "House of Manson" - a tense crime drama based on the life of notorious criminal Charles Manson, will be making its debut on digital platforms and physical media on August 5th in the United States from Gravitas Ventures.
Previously released in the UK as "Manson", the film follows the life of Charles Manson from childhood to his arrest at Barker Ranch following his involvement in the deaths at the Tate and Labianca residences (among others) during the summer of 1969, which ultimately led to his trial and sentencing.
The film stars Ryan Kiser (Dead Sea) in the title role of Charles Manson. Having previously portrayed the role in the unrelated short film "Lie" in 2009, Kiser's performance has gained accolades for his fresh take on the character, portraying him not as the ranting caricature often seen in low budget film adaptations of the story but as a flawed, human individual who also happens to be responsible for some of the most heinous acts in United States history.
Also garnering acclaim is Devanny Pinn's (The Black Dahlia Haunting) chilling portrayal of Susan Atkins, who has since died in prison of brain cancer, and Reid Warner's (Oren Peli's Area 51) harrowing and unsettling take on Charles "Tex" Watson - who now ironically runs a Christian outreach program from prison.
Rounding out the cast is Tristan Risk (American Mary) as Abigail Folger, Suzi Lorraine as Sharon Tate, as well as Serena Lorien, Erin Marie Hogan, Britt Griffith, Chriss Anglin (Supergirl), Julie Rose, and Maxine Wasa.
The film received awards and nominations from festivals all over the world including Snowdance, Canada International Film Festival, International Euro Film Festival, North Hollywood Cinefest, Action On Film, Twin Cities Film Festival, and The California Film Awards.
"Slagle should be applauded... 4.5 out of 5 Stars" - Dread Central
"Devanny Pinn is outstanding as the chilling Susan Atkins" - Starburst Magazine
"A stellar and true to life film that is engaging as it is terrifying."- HorrorMovies.ca
"It’s hard to imagine anything matching the fiery, accusatory tone of House of Manson"- Austin Chronicle

WildEye Releasing have announced they are set to release the directorial debut of Scream Queen Debbie Rochon, Model Hunger. After nearly 300 films, Rochon (Return to Nuke ‘Em High, Phobia, The Theater Bizarre) steps behind the camera to skewer audiences with her blood-curling take on an actress’ response to forced retirement.
Former pinup model Ginny (Lowry) had been cast aside by the heartless and exploitative modeling industry. Ginny didn’t take rejection well and grew into a revenge-seeking, bloodthirsty, broken woman. When her new neighbors Debbie (Shepis) and Sal (Capobianco) move in, Debbie begins to notice strange things going on. Sal believes she is mentally unstable, but Debbie becomes determined to figure out what secret life Ginny is leading. Her new nosy neighbor throws a damper on Ginny’s private life: her cannibalistic addictions and ever-growing body count. Both women become determined to put an end to the other’s obsession. »
