The Frankenstein Theory – make sure you remember this movie, ’cause it definitely looks promising. Nothing to be surprised about, especially if we add that the whole thing comes from the makers of The Last Exorcism, right? Ok then, make sure you check out the first trailer and poster for the movie which hits VOD on March 1st, 2013!
Director Andrew Weiner stands behind this boldly original vision of horror, which centers on a research team sent to the Arctic Circle to exhume tales of a monster laying beneath the ice. But, as you’re about to see from this video – something or someone is waiting for them.
The movie stars Kris Lemche, Heather Stephens, Eric Zuckerman, Brian Henderson, Joe Egender and Roger Morrissey.
Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
What if the most chilling novel of all time was actually based on a true account of a horrific experiment gone awry?...

Hollywood's douchiest agents are at it again in "Frenemies - Round 2, New Guy" the second video in a webseries about two industry insiders and their competitive friendship.
Writers Brian Henderson and Enver Gjokaj star as "assh*le" and "d*ckhead" agents Rick and Todd. The two square off over who gets to take the office's newest employee out to lunch -- despite not knowing his name, what he likes to eat, or anything else about him.
"I was just going to go to sushi with, uh.. " Gjokaj trails off.
"Really, sushi? Because I was going to go get steaks with, uh..." responds Henderson. The brinksmanship escalates into traded barbs about weight and body type (a very touchy subject in Hollywood), lies about high school athletic achievements and ends in a wrestling match on the floor.
Like their first film, "Frenemies - Round 1: Power Lunch" the video closes with another foodie face-off,...

The entertainment industry is more than just air kisses on a red carpet. Behind the scenes, there's sabotage and backstabbing, courtesy of one's closest frenemies.
Exhibit A: "Frenemies: Round 1 - Power Lunch," a send-up of Hollywood agent culture. Written by actor Brian Henderson and directed by actor Enver Gjokaj (both of whom star in the skit), the video showcases intense agent-to-agent brinkmanship over the lowest possible stakes. From knowing the waitress's name to who can order the bloodiest meat, these agents are loathe to show even the slightest hint of weakness before their rivals.
Henderson emailed the video to Nikki Finke, saying, "It's been passing around a lot of industry offices with a lot of 'I've totally had that lunch!' "
If you want to see this showdown in real life, just drop in at any of these Beverly Hills restaurants for a weekday lunch: Grill on the Alley, Barneys Greengrass,...

Ryan Murphy cleaned up on the Golden Globe nominations. So which table does he sit at, Glee or American Horror Story? One thing is settled – he's taking Rubber Man as his date!
Let us pause and reflect on just what The Notebook would look like as a Broadway musical. Because they're working on that.
If the top searches on Google are Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black, then I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
The six WalMart heirs now have more wealth than the bottom 30% of the population in the United States.
In San Francisco, the police department has requested advance notice of any decisions on Prop 8 so that they can prepare for protests. Is that even legal?
Perhaps they just want time to deploy this new riot shield that pumps out a wall of low frequency sound waves until you stop breathing enough to pass out.

This video reminds me of an article I once wrote about Hollywood power eaters. How if you feel intimidated you can simply order a small side salad. Or a steak “blood rare” to scare your companion and close your deal in record time. Enver Gjokaj and Brian Henderson may be familiar to you already from their online sketches and this one may or may not be about 2 junior agents. ”It’s been passing around a lot of industry offices with a lot of ‘I’ve totally had that lunch!’,” Henderson emails me. Enjoy:...

Margaret Pomeranz delivered a powerful keynote speech at the opening of the Spaa Conference yesterday in Sydney, and Encore has the full transcript of her meditation on the state of Australian film and television – and why Government and audiences should appreciate the arts a little more.
I’m extremely grateful to Spaa for inviting me to give this keynote speech today. It is the Hector Crawford Memorial Lecture and I want to honour the man today. Hector put Australian television on the map, he made Australian accents acceptable in the media. Do you remember when we could only stomach New Zealanders reading our news because they sounded more English than us? Brian Henderson was a prime example. But more than that Hector validated Australian writers, Australian actors, directors, designers, a whole Australian infrastructure, Some of those people are still working today. In a very significant way Hector created an industry,...

After playing some of theater's most famous roles, actor Joe Spano takes on the role of theater's most famous scribe: William Shakespeare. Spano, best known for his roles on television's NCIS and Hill Street Blues, portrays Shakespeare (fondly called ‘Shag' after playwright Bill Cain's favorite contemporary spelling of the Bard's name: ‘Shagspeare' or ‘Shagespeare') in the Los Angeles premiere of Equivocation. Spano is joined by two-time Tony Award nominee Harry Groener as Richard, the second in command of Shag's winsome acting troupe, as well as Patrick J. Adams, Brian Henderson and Connor Trinneer, who comprise the rest of Shag's theater company - Sharpe, Armin and Nate, respectively. That said, as Equivocation's tale unwinds onstage, the actors ultimately play about two dozen roles ranging from conspirators and priests to Lady Macbeth and King Lear. The cast also features Troian Bellisario as Judith, Shakespeare's omnipresent daughter.

When Julie White signed on to play Diane, the motor-mouthed Hollywood talent agent with a penchant for skyscraper heels in Douglas Carter Beane's The Little Dog Laughed, it was supposed to be for a limited engagement. "I read it and said, 'Sure! I got nothing else to do for the next two months,' which is how long I think it was supposed to go," White says with a laugh. "Now, three years later, I'm still stomping around the stage in those big shoes."The play debuted Off-Broadway at Second Stage in 2006, eventually moving to Broadway and earning White a Tony Award. Her co-star Johnny Galecki won a Theatre World Award for his performance as Alex, a charming young hustler who catches the eye of Diane's closeted client Mitchell (Brian Henderson).Currently, White and Galecki are reprising their roles in the play's Los Angeles premiere at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
