They thought they were friends. A man-eating fish proved them wrong. In director Larry Fessenden’s Beneath, six recently graduated high school friends cross paths with a massive, sharp-toothed fish on the secluded Black Lake. Confronted with a life-or-death situation, the teens discover how weak their bond really is as tempers rise, panic sets in, and the fish opens its jaws for the next meal.

30 Rock alum Matt Hubbard is staying put at Universal Television. The Emmy-winning writer-producer has inked a new two-year overall deal with the studio, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Under the pact, Hubbard will develop and supervise new projects for the studio as well as executive produce Fox's Universal Television comedy Cabot College, which reteams him with 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. This week, new details emerged about one of Tina Fey’s first post-30 Rock projects, a currently untitled comedy for Fox. According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedian Margaret Cho has joined the show as Laura Thibault, a college president who has decided to admit men to her women-only school. Margaret Cho has come aboard the comedy unofficially known as "Cabot College," THR reports. The multicamera comedy takes place at a women's college that's opened its doors to men for the first time.
Cho will co-star in the series regular role of Laura Thibault, the president of Cabot College who made the tough decision to let men into the school. She's described as a divisive figure on campus who does her best to be welcoming to the male freshmen, but often finds herself irritated by their antics.
The series also stars Bonnie Dennison ("Third Watch") as Thena, a hard-core feminist sophomore who acts as leader of the population of Cabot College that doesn't want men on campus. Jack Cutmore-Scott co-stars as Charlie Deckard, a wealthy Kennedy-type who enrolls at Cabot. »
The cast for Tina Fey’s multi-cam Fox comedy continues to take shape.
The latest new recruit to the show, about a women’s college that starts to admit men? Margaret Cho, who has secured a role as an administrator at the college named Laura Thibault. The Drop Dead Diva actress will join the series, which does not yet have an official title, as a series regular. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the casting.

Beneath is a creature feature from director Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter) and Glass Eye Pix. This film will be released across North America on March 25th, 2014. The film will be available on DVD and Blu-ray. Beneath stars Danny Zovatto (Innocence), Bonnie Dennison (Stake Land), Chris Conroy (Sorority Row), Jonny Orsini (Imogene), Griffin Newman ("Political Animals"), Mackenzie Rosman ("7th Heaven"), and Mark Margolis ("Breaking Bad"). And, the film's official artwork and release details are here. In the film's story, six friends head out for a weekend vacation. They are stranded in the middle of a lake, which is inhabited by a monstrous fish. This man-eating creature hopes to make a snack of the friends and few will survive this adventure turned tragedy. Young Broadway actor Jack Cutmore-Scott is set to co-star opposite Bonnie Dennison in Fox‘s multi-camera comedy pilot created/executive produced by Matt Hubbard and exec producer by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Directed/exec produced by Pam Fryman, the untitled comedy, which has a series penalty, is set at a women’s college that begins accepting men for the first time in its history.
