Fashion fix of the week: Casio G-Shock DW6600 watch from Resident Evil: Extinction

Post-apocalyptic fashion is often surprisingly smart in the stylish world of cinema. There’s no need to make do in battered rags or cardboard on your feet, as those meticulous movie folk still manage to flaunt cool clobber regardless of the sad state of the world. And leading the charge is Nurse Betty (played by R’n’B singing star Ashanti), one of the survivors of the nasty T-virus in Resident Evil: Extinction. In this third instalment of the video game film franchise, the plucky medic zooms into focus on our style-o-meter (fictional, but nonetheless a great idea, don’t you think?) with her Casio G-Shock DW6600 watch. And so we continue the Halloween theme that has pervaded our recent fashion fixes, by naming it this week’s entry. »

There's no place like home - provided you've been to Oz. Ashanti will soon be taking the trip, by starring in a very limited Manhattan stage engagement of the 1974 Best Musical Tony winner The Wiz, reports Broadway World. The singer-actress, 28, will mark her stage debut as the Toto-toting Dorothy in the soulful version of the The Wizard of Oz, which originally starred Stephanie Mills on Broadway and, in the 1978 movie, Diana Ross. Obsession hits theaters this week featuring the wonderful acting talents looks of Beyonce Knowles and the ever beautiful Ali Larter. We Rejects, as you may have gleaned, are pretty big fans of the ladies and will take any opportunity to talk about them, show pictures of them, and encroach within our 100 yard restraining order distance of them. This flick seems tailor-made for us. Not to watch, of course, but rather to allow us to talk about and post pictures of hot women. In the making of this list we decided to try to limit ourselves to hot women who we'd cheat on even if our significant other was as hot as Beyonce.
