Any fan of Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. (aka Lil Wayne), his punch-line peppered raps, Espn The Magazine and/or Around the Horn knows the Grammy Award-winning hip-hop superstar loves him some sports. Lil Wayne’s had a column in Entertainment and Sports Programming Network’s online version of its print publication since 2008 and talked sports shop with notable writers Michael Smith and Woody Paige courtesy of Tony Reali back in early 2009. When Wayne began a temporary eight-month stay at Rikers Island in early 2010 courtesy of pleading guilty to a gun possession charge, he passed the time by blogging about sports. Now, Lil Wayne is putting that passion for professional athletics, a recent penchant for odd behavior, and a seeming want to not rap into video form. He released Weezy’s Sports Corner on December 24 with producer/friend Derick G. The program features the Young Money president on a couch, surrounded »

It was a courtside Christmas for celebrities in California! Kanye West, Megan Fox and Adam Levine (to name a few) came out to the Staples Center to watch the L.A. Lakers-Chicago Bulls matchup. Despite battling both a wrist injury and the hype surrounding his impending divorce, Lakers star Kobe Bryant, 33, scored a team-leading 28 points in L.A.'s first game of the NBA season. But it was also Bryant who had what would have been a game-winning shot blocked in the final seconds, allowing the Bulls to win by a single point.Playing in a record-setting 14th straight Christmas Day game, »

If you happened to be looking at the comments on any of Lil Wayne's YouTube videos last night, you might have been in for a nasty shock. Take, for example, the top rated comments on the video for "Prom Queen:"
Similar "well wishers" showed up in several other videos, attributing Wayne's death to everything from car crashes to autoerotic asphyxiation. But just in case the title didn't tip you off, you've got nothing to worry about: Lil' Wayne did not die in a car crash while suffocating himself.
Apparently, this is not the first time Wayne's death has been prematurely announced. Back on November 3rd, 2008, a fake BBC News site reported that Wayne was killed in a shooting. The same rumor surfaced again in 2009, then changed to Wayne being killed in jail during 2010, and finally became Wayne dying in a car crash earlier this year. At this rate, we're going »

So this is the second time today I'm writing about something that happened at Seth MacFarlane's party in Los Angeles, and it's just making me wish I'd been there, except that Amanda Bynes might have eaten me.
Anyway, at the party it was confirmed that Wilmer Valderrama of That '70s Show, 31, is dating Demi Lovato, 19. They've been going out for quite some time, apparently, only having taken a break when Lovato went to rehab in 2010.
A source said, "They showed up together and made no effort to hide that they're back together. "They were dirty-dancing to the music, and when they were seated, Wilmer had his hands on Demi's knee the entire time. He was being very boyfriend-like and affectionate."

The Emmy-, Grammy- and Tony-winning subject of the documentary "Sing Your Song" -- which has been shown at such film festivals as Sundance and Tribeca, and makes its HBO debut Monday, Oct. 17 -- legendary entertainer and activist Belafonte tells Zap2it he's "ambivalent" about the Washington, D.C., site that honors King.
"I think that to have gotten the nation behind the idea of a place on the Mall where a statue was erected to a force who, by all measures, commanded the best of the 20th century morally and socially is a validation that I'm proud our country could wind up making the commitment to. Now, that's the positive side.
"The other side of it," Belafonte adds, "is that a lot of people soiled the mission. »
A lot of heavyweight's released new albums this week. Lil' Wayne finally dropped _Tha Carter IV_ teaching children everywhere how to spell incorrectly and about roman numerals. Another highly anticipated album, Red Hot Chili Peppers _I'm With You_, the first without John Frusciante also came out. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, released his third album under his Nightwatchmen name while the ever present Lenny Kravitz explored _Black and White America_ for his latest release. »
We've been getting flooded with TV news lately, and today's no exception. So let's get right to it. Ater the jump, read about: Teasers for Season 2 of The Walking Dead Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes' new 19th-century project MTV's decision to have no one at all host the VMAs The miraculous resurrection of Fox's Breaking In With all the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding AMC's The Walking Dead, I nearly forgot that the show itself was still a thing. Thankfully, the marketing team has seen fit to remind people like me of the series' October return with four new teasers. They're just 11 seconds each, but if you watch them all back-to-back, they add up to one regular-sized promo. My favorite is the last one, which comes across to me like someone in the marketing department just really wanted to use that "Makes True Blood look like iCarly!" quote and couldn't figure »

As a movie star and general Hollywood woman-about-town, Anne Hathaway is no stranger to paparazzi attention. Still, recent stealth photo work of her on the set of "The Dark Knight Rises," and the relatively negative reaction it has engendered, has apparently taken its toll on her.
What else but stress could drive a perfectly normal, Academy Award-nominated actress to resort to rapping in the style of Lil' Wayne?
That's exactly what Hathaway did during a recent appearance on Conan O'Brien's TBS talk show after a rather awkward and obviously pre-planned setup. Did she have the skizillz to pay the bizillz? Given the context, her efforts were impressive, to say the least. With some grooming, we could see a Hathaway/Lil' Wayne team-up being the next "Watch the Throne."
Ch-ch-check it out:

Washington, Aug 18: 'Valentine's Day' actress Anne Hathaway has revealed that she penned a rap song about the attention the paparazzi give her in order to relax and forget about the pressures of fame.
