Aubrey Drake Graham - better known as just Drake, went from being a locally-known Canadian actor on high school drama Degrassi to teaming up with the biggest names in hip-hop professionally (Kanye West, Jay-z and Lil' Wayne - just to name a few), not to mention romantically. (Remember those Rihanna and Nicki Minaj headlines?) But there's much more to the actor-turned-hip-hop star, 24, than a Platinum-selling album, Thank Me Later, and a Rolodex stocked with A-listers. Here are five things you should know about Best New Artist Grammy contender Drake: 1. He was humbled watching Jay-z perform last year Drake says seeing »

Now that he's a free man , Lil' Wayne may not be allowed to have a gun anymore ... but that didn't stop him from making a hand gesture of a pistol and pointing it at T-Pain 's head at a club in Miami this weekend. Cheap shot. Read more »

Lil Wayne was a hot topic for conversation on and off of Twitter today now that he's out of lock-up. Donald Glover hopes someone was able to get a picture, while Marlon Wayans sounded skeptical, and David Faustino expects big things for Weezy tonight at his post-prison release party.
Halloween costume pictures have still be showing up as well, and you can find Billy Burke and Jason Mewes sharing what they wore after the jump. They're there along with Stephen Colbert's thoughts on Prop 19 failing in California, Elizabeth Banks with a face from "Lost" and the shooting location where you might have seen Emmy Rossum working today.

We aren't huge hip hop fans here at More Horror, but you might here some 50 cent or Lil' Wayne playing in the office from time to time. It's being reported that rapper Lil' Wayne will walk free from New York City's infamous Rikers Island prison Thursday morning.
Wayne (Weezy) served eight months on a weapons charge, and his friends are reportedly planning an "elegant, extravagant" evening of celebration and strippers to welcome him home. We imagine they will be getting 'krunked'.
The platinum-selling, billboard topping (even during his stint in Rikers) Mc, born Dwayne Carter Jr., pleaded guilty in 2009 to possessing a loaded gun on his tour bus in Manhattan. He started serving a one-year sentence in March. »

"Def Jam Rapstar" is a big release for hip-hop fans, a long-ignored group when it comes to video games. In an effort to make the release an even bigger deal, Def Jam has teamed up Cash Money Records to offer a special bonus to early adopters of the game. Anyone who purchases "Def Jam Rapstar" at a Best Buy between October 12 and October 19 will also receive a free copy of Lil Wayne's ninth album, entitled "I Am Not A Human Being."
Despite Lil Wayne's current incarceration, "I Am Not A Human Being" will be his second album released in less than a year, and fans of hip-hop will undoubtedly appreciate the two-for-one deal they're getting with the game and the album.
In addition to the album, followers of Lil Wayne can attempt his lyrical style in one of his songs, "A Milli," which is included in the game.

Lil' Wayne has been tossed in Rikers Island's version of solitary confinement after he was found to have a pair of headphones and an MP3 charger in his cell. Weezy will be in punitive segregation, but he was already in a private cell. Who knew? Lil Wayne is a tennis fan! In a hand-written letter to Sports Illustrated, the platinum-selling artist (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) made some predictions from prison regarding the upcoming U.S. Open. He got into tennis, he writes after trying to play and finding it "unbelievably difficult." Related: Lil Wayne's Life in Jail "I'm a huge [Rafael] Nadal fan," he says. The following post is from SSMagEditor, who posted it on the OnSugar blog Stimulation Status. Nicki Minaj is, what many would say, the female version of Lil Wayne. She is what I would say well on her way to being a recognized force among both her male and female peers. With her witty punchlines and animated face she has the ability to make new listeners want to know who she is and where she came from. Onika Maraj is her birth name, she was raised in Jamaica Queens, New York. Despite what the naysayers may think she isn't your typical rapper, she has taken a page out of the Missy Elliot handbook and sings as well, in order to stand out among the other female rappers in the game. Before signing to Lil' Wayne's Young Money label she was already a force to be reckoned with in the underground circuit. »

Count me as not surprised on this one. The gruesome two-some Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood will be starring in an upcoming "sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie," titled Splatter Sisters. The film will be directed by Adam Bhala Lough, whose previous work was a documentary on rapper Lil' Wayne called The Carter. Lough will have help from veteran producer Edward R. Pressman (American Psycho, The Crow) and director David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) who will »

As of Monday, rapper Lil Wayne has a new moniker: Inmate Carter. The platinum-selling artist (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.), who began his yearlong jail sentence for gun possession on Monday, is facing a lot of new circumstances these days. The rapper is living among the general population of inmates at the Eric. M. Taylor Center (the facility for sentenced males at Riker's Island), but he is also afforded a low level of protective custody, due to his public profile.
