To wrap up the Twilight-related events of 2012 (and to put a pin in the Saga ... unless that spin-off does end up happening after all), here is one of a series of posts looking back at the major events of the year for the main parties involved continuing with the one and only Taylor Lautner. It was a rather quiet year for Taylor Lautner, but he did set some things into motion for himself. He's also been working with director Gus Van Sant to develop an indie film based upon an article from The New Yorker. Not only will Lautner star in the picture, but he will a //// 2012 in review: Kristen Stewart 'On The Road' »

Here’s the short story on the top 10 investment-worthy actors.
Forbes has published their annual list of the actors whose movies offer the highest returns for their hefty paychecks and Natalie Portman has taken the top spot.
Academy Award winner Portman provides about $42.70 at the box office for every dollar she’s paid thanks to the success of films like Black Swan, which made over $300 million in theaters, or to put it another way, the film grossed 25 times its $13 million budget.
On the other end of the list — calculated by taking the lead actor’s salary for an individual film and averaging it against the amount of money that title makes is Eddie Murphy. He gets the dishonor of being the »

Why do Shia Labeouf and Kristen Stewart and Natalie Portman get credit for being so "bankable" when their giant franchise movies do most of the publicity work for them? —Cholmondeley, Norwich, via Twitter True: Vampire romances and movies about secret alien robots do kinda sell themselves regardless of who's starring. At least that's what I thought before I started researching your question. Turns out, people like K.Stew may deserve more credit than you think. Along with Portman, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Stewart and Labeouf were recently crowned by Forbes as the most "bankable" names in Hollywood. Translation: For every buck they get paid, they offer the biggest »

According to Hollywood Life, Twilight Saga mega stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have landed on another prestigious 2012 list. This time, it's Forbes "Most Profitable Actors" list. Apparently, both Kristen and Rob bring in a ton of cash for every dollar they earn in return, making them highly profitable for movie studios in 2012. However, Kristen did beat out Rob,once again,by taking the 2nd place spot among a list of very high profile actors and actresses. She finished only behind the very beautiful Natalie Portman, who's been working her ass off, lately. They say, Kristen earns studios, $40.60 for every dollar she makes. Rob earns the studios, $31.70 for every dollar he makes, giving him a 4th place finish on the list. Their co-star Taylor Lautner also made the list in 6th place with $29.50 for every dollar he makes. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are not only young, attractive and successful, they are also some of the most valuable actors in the business, as they generate so much money for the box office. According to a new list complied by Forbes, for every $1 Kristen makes, the box office makes $40.60. And for every $1 Rob makes, the box office gets $31.70. Let’s hope Rob isn’t the jealous type!
Kristen And Rob’s Rankings
Rob and Kristen both make a lot of money, but not as much money as they generate! Kristen is listed as the second most profitable actress on Forbes‘ “Hollywood’s Best Actors For The Buck“ list, while Rob came fourth. While they both made »

Twilight trio stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all made Forbes' list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck this year, but thanks to Snow White And The Huntsman, Stewart ranks highest among the three. Topped only by Natalie Portman, Stewart brings in an average of $40.60 per every dollar she makes, according to their calculations, while Pattinson brings in $31.70 and Lautner returns $29.50. View slideshow: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, of course, factored into all three figures, but Stewart added Swath, while Pattinson boasted Bel Ami and Cosmopolis (along with Water For Elephants) and Lautner had just one other film in con . »
Forbes magazine recently compiled a list of Hollywood's most overpaid actors, with Eddie Murphy taking first place by bringing in slightly over $2 for every dollar the actor was paid in salary. The magazine has now unveiled its list of the most bankable actors. Natalie Portman topped the list by bringing in $42.70 in revenue for every dollar she earned. Her "Black Swan" movie was very profitable, grossing $329 million globally on only a $13 million budget. The actress went on to win an Oscar for her performance. Portman's "No Strings Attached" grossed $150 million globally on a $25 million budget. Her "Your Highness" comedy bombed, but that wasn't enough to knock her from the list's top spot. Taking second place is Kristen Stewart, who brought back $40.60 to her films for every dollar she earned. This is a bit of a surprise, since Stewart is Hollywood's highest-paid actress. But with films like "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 »
Considering how much more money the "Twilight Saga" films earned in the box office than they cost to make, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to learn that the three main stars of Summit Entertainment's hit series are among the most bankable actors in Hollywood. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are all in Forbes' annual list of Hollywood's Best Actors For The Buck, and for good reason.
This year the list was topped by Natalie Portman, who made $42.70 for every dollar she earned thanks to the money raked in by "Black Swan." Trailing behind her was Stewart, who made $40.60 for every dollar she earned. Rounding out the top three was Shia Labeouf with his $35.80 for every dollar in his paycheck.
Coming in fourth is Pattinson, fifth is Daniel Radcliffe and sixth is Lautner, so those three should all write "thank you" letters to the authors who gave them their careers. »
Looking to get the most bang for your buck when casting a would-be blockbuster? Consider Natalie Portman or Kristen Stewart, the two top actors on Forbes’s new list of the stars that offer Hollywood the best return on investment.
The magazine estimates that Oscar winner Portman returned $42.70 for every dollar she was paid for her last three starring roles in Black Swan, No Strings Attached, and Your Highness. Black Swan is the main reason Portman won such high placement on the list; the 2010 film grossed a healthy $330 million on an estimated budget of $13 million. By contrast, Forbes Most Overpaid »

You're going to need an extra big mop to clean up this mess: Peter Travers is here with the stinkiest scum bucket of them all as he runs down the worst movies of 2012. But before we get to the films themselves, Travers dishes out some awards, including worst technical innovation to The Hobbit's controversial 48-frames per second; worst luck for an actor to Taylor Kitsch who made turns in turds like John Carter and Savages; and while Rihanna picks up worst actress for her debut role in Battleship, worst actor »

We know what the biggest box office hits of 2012 were, but who were the biggest stars?
Not surprisingly, Forbes' list of highest-grossing stars of 2012 is led by the lead actors from those hits: "The Avengers'" Robert Downey Jr., "Breaking Dawn Part 2's" Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, "The Dark Knight Rises'" Christian Bale and "Skyfall's" Daniel Craig.
Forbes' slightly arbitrary qualification for making the list is being the "lead" performer in a film, hence Downey is singled out from among the "Avengers" ensemble, while the "Twilight" trio somehow all make the cut.
A handful of actors make the race a little more interestings thanks to multiple releases at multiplexes -- most notably Stewart who leaped ahead of her co-stars thanks to headlining a second hit movie, summer's "Snow White and the Huntsman." (Pity poor "Avengers" and "Huntsman" star Chris Hemsworth, who would've trumped Downey under different rules. »

The musical pairing of "Twilight's" Nikki Reed and "American Idol" alum Paul McDonald has prompted some to suggest the husband and wife duo could be another The Civil Wars-type group, a compliment the actress doesn't mind.
"I think that is the most flattering thing that I have ever heard," Nikki told Parade of comparisons to the famed male-female musical duo, responsible for writing, "If I Didn't Know Better," one of the breakout songs from ABC's "Nashville."
"We are obviously inspired by groups ...
