The producer had the Pierre Morel-directed pilot Zero Hour picked up at ABC. Quirk Books’ David Borgenicht will also be a producer. The book was just published. The first in a trilogy, The Last Policeman offers a mystery set on the brink of an apocalypse. Shari Smiley of The Smiley Group made the deal for the author in concert with Joelle Delbourgo Associates. Smiley also reps the publisher.

Now, with a movie due out in 2012, PadWorx Digital Media has announced it is developing an interactive book/app for Seth Grahame-Smith's literary mash-up Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Jeffrey Alan Schechter, Creative Director and President of PadWorx Digital Media, had this to say about the project: “We’ve been very fortunate to work on some extremely cool projects, but it doesn’t get any cooler than working with Quirk Books on such an iconic title.”
