- Norman Solomon was born on July 7, 1951 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Convention (2008), King of Canarsie and Shutter Spy.
- Writes the syndicated weekly media and politics column "Media Beat," which until 1996, was co-written by Jeff Cohen, then by FAIR'S executive director. The column is syndicated all throughout the US.
