See No Evil 2 Starring WWE Superstar Kane Starts Shooting This Fall

WWE Studios and Lionsgate announced today that production on See No Evil 2, the follow up to the duo's 2006 horror release, See No Evil, is scheduled to start in fall 2013. WWE Superstar Kane, a dominant force within the WWE, is set to reprise his lead role as reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight. Fanboy favorites and identical twin directors of horror, the Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia (American Mary), are set to helm the film. See No Evil 2 was penned by co-writers Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby.

See No Evil 2 revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.

See No Evil starring WWE star Kane gets a sequel

A sequel is on route for Kane starrer See No Evil with production set to start in fall 2013. According to Variety, WWE Studios is producing the sequel to the 2006 horror thriller alongside Lionsgate. Star wrestler Kane played a psychopath called Jacob Goodnight who goes on a killing spree in the film which made $19 million worldwide, and also included Christina Vidal, Samantha Noble, Luke Pegler Michael J. Pagan, Steven Vidler, Rachael Taylor, Ponny McNamee and Craig Horner. The film will be directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary, ABCs of Death 2). »

Director Gary Doust doesn.t believe in overnight success.

That is, until one cropped up in his latest documentary series, Next Stop Hollywood.

Debuting.on the ABC tomorrow night, Next Stop Hollywood follows the plight of six Australian actors who head to Hollywood during the infamous pilot season.
