Rajkummar Rao & Shruti Haasan’s Behen Hogi Teri to release in June this year

Oddball Motion Pictures’ maiden production venture Behen Hogi Teri will release on June 2nd, worldwide. The movie stars Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Hassan in the lead and has been extensively shot in Lucknow.

This desi romantic comedy is being directed by debutant Ajay K Pannalal and produced by Anthony D’Souza, Amul Vikas Mohan and Nitin Upadhyaya. Music by Rishi Rich, Jam8 and Jaidev Kumar.

The makers of the this movie will start promotions in the first week of May which is when they will be launching their first trailer. The movie also stars Gautam Gulati, Herry Tangiri, Darshan Jariwala, Ranjeet and Gulshan Grover.

In Pictures: Stars of Viceroy’s House join director Gurinder Chadha for UK Premiere

London’s iconic Curzon Mayfair played host to the UK Premiere of Gurinder Chadha’s Viceroy’s House last Tuesday. The British Asian filmmaker led the star cast including Hugh Bonneville, Gillian Anderson, Manish Dayal and Huma Qureshi on the red carpet. Also joining the Premiere were fellow cast members Darshan Jariwala, Lily Travers, Tanveer Ghani and Jaz Deol.

The night saw stars from TV, film and music descend on the red carpet, including EastendersNitin Ganatra, Pakistani film star Armeena Khan and British chart topping duo Naughty Boy and Emeli Sande.

Viceroy’s House, directed by Gurinder Chadha is releasing nationwide ‪on 3rd March 2017. The film tells the true story of the final months of British rule in India and its release will coincide with the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of India and the founding of Pakistan.
