Mini Biography

Nick Palumbo attended film school in Los Angeles. In 2004, Nick Palumbo wrote, produced and directed one of the most notorious theatrical feature horror cult films of all time; "Murder-Set-Pieces", shot on location in Las Vegas on 35mm film and released by Lionsgate Films in the continental US (in an "R" cut) and by Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and The Weinstein Company (Uncut) in Europe and Asia.

Screened for its World Premiere at the prestigious Sitges International Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain, "Murder-Set-Pieces" was the first un-rated American horror film to hit theaters in 20 years. Palumbo's original cut of the enormously controversial film is still banned in several countries as of April 2012.

Palumbo may be known in the film industry for his confrontational films, but in real life he's an easy going, fun loving guy. His favorite film of all time is Charles Laughton's "The Night of the Hunter"(1955).

After an eight year hiatus, Palumbo returns with his psychological thriller "Muse"(2013). Palumbo's confrontational neo-noir film, "The Last Gas Station" is also scheduled for release in 2013.
