Dracula: The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse All Galloping Their Way to a Franchise

22 May 2012 11:56 AM, PDT | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

Was just saying to myself, ya know what we need? Another Dracula franchise. One that's meaty and filled with teeth, gore, supernatural beasts, and a good storyline that could carry the Og vampire for years to come. What we're getting is ... well .... oh, just read on.

According to THR, Crystal Sky will go into production this summer on Dracula: The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, to be shot on location in Romania. Pearry Reginald Teo (Necromentia) is directing with producer Steven Paul looking to cast a star in the lead.

“It’s the first installment in a franchise about a young, romantic Prince of Darkness, his Army of the Undead, and a series of events that shake Transylvania to its core,” said Paul, who calls the vampires “the bad boys” of their time. He said the intent is to create a Twilight-type franchise, which will spin off movie after movie in years to come. »

Pearry Reginald Teo (Necromentia) is directing, although they have not cast the lead yet. Pearry Teo (Necromentia, Witchville), one of my favourite directors, is bringing his style of outrageous imagery to the fairytale with Bedlam Stories, a twisted take on Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz. We previously brought you some concept art from the film and now Teo has unleashed yet more via his Facebook page, including a very eerie looking Emerald City

Google Engineers Collaborate to Produce Pearry Teo's Dead Inside

29 January 2012 3:54 PM, PST | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

Yes, our lives revolve around Google. It's gone from Yahoo!'s chumpy little brother, to the biggest website in the world. It's so big that Google somehow went from a noun to a verb! The people behind this kind of success have got to have their heads on straight. Let's hope the eight Google engineers who joined forces to produce the upcoming horror film Dead Inside were some of the good Google workers, not the ones who just hang around by the candy machine and try to say something that sounds smart.

Written by Jennifer Zhang and directed by Pearry Teo, Dead Inside is a creepy film set at a party where bad things begin to happen after one character has a premonition of another's death. Zhang is also featured in the film along with stars Lala Hensley, Matthew Mercer, Rayne Bidder, James Adam Lim, Tara Strand and Sage Howard. »

First look at Pearry Teo’s new movie ‘Bedlam Stories’

4 January 2012 3:08 PM, PST | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

I’ve been a fan of director Pearry Teo ever since I first saw Necromentia a couple of years ago. The film, which completely blew me away, was a dark horror-fantasy that out did Hellraiser when it came to hellish imagery and now it looks like Teo is bringing the same outrageous imagery to the fairytale with Bedlam Stories, a twisted take on Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.

Set in the 1920s, in Bedlam Asylum, the story revolves around Dorothy of Oz and Alice from Wonderland as they are brought into the asylum to treat their fantasy land delusions. But doctors soon realize that the patients’ imaginations may actually be real.

Teo has unveiled some concept art for the film on his Facebook page, including a concept one-sheet and character art for the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter… Check out the creepy images below:
