Rhythm guitarist who worked primarily with Benny Goodman's band, 1935-1938 and 1943-1944. Also had stints with Jack Teagarden, Paul Whiteman and Harry James. A prolific session musician after the war, Allen Reuss also headed his own teaching academy, first in New York and later in Hollywood.
