A former Today show staff member is detailing an alleged in-office affair with Matt Lauer that transpired 16 years ago.

In a piece for Variety published Thursday, Addie Zinone (née Collins) says her relationship with former Today show anchor Lauer — who was fired at the end of November by NBC News after the network received a “detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior,” with reason to believe “this may not have been an isolated incident” — began in 2000. Following her internship at the Today show, Collins was offered a job as an NBC News production assistant in 1999.

Maria Menounos Shares Hospital Video Taken Just One Day After Her Brain Surgery
Maria Menounos is forever grateful for those who have helped her through the last six months.

On Friday, the former E! News host shared an Instagram video of herself in the hospital being fed by a friend just 24 hours she had undergone brain surgery.

Menounos, 39, was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor back in February, and in June had a seven-hour surgery to remove the tumor, which luckily was benign.

"This video was taken 24 hours after my brain surgery. I still can’t believe that you can eat and speak normally so soon after. It was hard to keep my eyes open bc i was seeing double at this point," she wrote alongside the clip.

Miss America Will Urge Viewers to Donate to Hurricane Irma Relief During Broadcast

The Miss America pageant is keeping victims of Hurricane Irma in mind as the contestants take the stage Sunday.

Several times throughout the show, hosts Sage Steele of Espn and Chris Harrison from The Bachelor will share ways viewers can help with relief efforts for both Irma, which will continue to rip through Florida into Monday morning, and Hurricane Harvey, which recently devastated Texas.

People can visit the Red Cross’ website or call 1-800-red-cross or 1-855-999-give with their donations. They can also text Irma to 90999 or text Harvey to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
