'Dancing With The Stars' Crowns A New Champion

After a season full of injuries, record-breaking high scores and William Levy, "Dancing With the Stars" crowned its Season 14 winner: Donald Driver, Green Bay Packers wide receiver.
Driver, together with his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd, wowed the audience with their show-stopping freestyle. This is the first win for Murgatroyd, who joined "Dancing With the Stars" as a featured pro last season.
Despite the judges' constant accolades, opera singer Katherine Jenkins, the early frontrunner in the competition, took second place with her partner Mark Ballas. As always, the freestyle challenge was a game changer. Latin heartthrob William Levy, together with his partner Cheryl Burke, came in third after a disappointing freestyle dance.
With a two-hour show, there was a lot of filler leading up to the big announcement, including performances by Kelly Clarkson and former "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Gladys Knight. All the season's castoffs returned -- Knight, Martina Navratilova, »

Los Angeles — He already has a Super Bowl ring, and now football star Donald Driver can add the "Dancing With the Stars" mirrorball trophy to his awards collection.
The Green Bay Packers receiver won the ABC dance show Tuesday after wowing audiences and judges with his kickin' country-themed freestyle routine. He and partner Peta Murgatroyd hoisted the glittery prize above their heads after being named the new "Dancing" champs.
Streamers and confetti rained down from the ceiling, filling the ballroom as they celebrated. Driver's wife and children joined him on the dance floor.
With just one point separating the three finalists, it was up to the viewers to pick the winner.
He and his fellow finalists, Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins and Cuban actor William Levy, each earned perfect scores for their last performances Tuesday. Jenkins came into the final contest with a perfect 60 points; Driver and Levy each had 59.

DWTS 2012 cast returned. Sherri Shepherd popped. Martina Navratilova and Jack Wagner came back to dance. The tennis pro did her best to keep up with her pro Tony Dovolani while the soap king looked happy to be in the limelight again with his pro Anna Trebunskaya. Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff came back to perform a Rumba with the help of a few other girls. Gladys Knight and Tristan Macmanus hit the dance floor one more time before Jaleel White Kym Johnson did. "My kids can't wait to take it home," Driver told HuffPost TV last week over the phone. "They just really want to hold it. I tell them that we're bringing it home to Titletown."

There are only three contestants left on "Dancing With The Stars": William Levy, a Cuban-American actor and model, Donald Driver, a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, and Katherine Jenkins, a Welsh opera singer.
"DWTS" judge Carrie Ann Inaba sat down for an interview with "Good Morning America" (weekdays, 7 a.m. Et on ABC) host Lara Spencer, and gave her prediction of who will win Season 14's Mirror Ball Trophy ... sort of.

During the "DWTS" results show on May 15, William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver managed to stay in the game, while Maria Menounos was knocked off. This is arguably the best season ever, with dancers so good it's impossible to predict a winner.
Judge Len Goodman visited Access Hollywood to chat about his picks for the winner and why Menounos was kicked off while at the top of the leader board. He also gives us a look at his feelings about William Levy and his tush.

It came as a surprise to most when Maria Menounos and Derek Hough were eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night, despite landing at the top of the leaderboard. “Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with the pair backstage just after the shocking news. “It was by one point,” Maria said when asked if they were surprised to go from first to home. “It was such a tight race. 'Dancing With The Stars' to do all-star edition for season 15. According to a new report from TV Line, ABC is planning to bring back all-star dancers from the past in the Fall edition of it's hit show "Dancing With The Stars."
